We called the morning of our stay to make reservations. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. They had cookies and popcorn for incoming guests. (We didn't partake as we were heading to dinner but the thought was welcoming!) We requested a late checkout and the staff was most accommodating.
Our room was clean, the bathroom was clean and the hotel, although busy, appeared well maintained.
The pool was on the cool side but the hot tub was enjoyed by others in our party.
The breakfast was delicious. Also, the staff working the breakfast area went above and beyond. Veronica was beyond pleasant and Marcus was personable and interacted with the kids. My son loved his elephant impression! (Very appropriate as we were in town visiting the zoo.)
When we left, my son realized he had forgotten his new toy from the zoo. The staff took my name/number and said they would call if it was found. I went back and asked if I could look one more time, the lady at the counter said she kept my key out with my contact info. Thankfully, I went back and was able to find his toy in a drawer. But the thoughtfulness of the staff and their willingness to help a sad 3 year struck the heartstrings of this momma.

We always use this hotel when visiting the zoo. Excellent staff and military rates are great! Breakfast is yummy and the indoor pool was even completely empty this time.

Recommend this place to anyone who is just passing by or is here for business. I'm here usually 1 week every month and the staff, service, and rooms are always great.

We were very happy with our stay. The people were very friendly. The room was clean that to us is the most important thing. And breakfast was fine.

I stay at this hotel every time I travel to High Point for work. The staff always greets me with a smile when I come through the doors. My room is always clean and in order. The hotel smells good. Never unsatisfied.

They are rude and not a good place to stay at certain time at night traveling for almost 4hrs with kids theu kicked us out because by law no more than 5 in each room. I would understand if we had 10 adults but we had 4 adults and just 3 small kids under the age of 5 payed 2 suits..plus they dont even have a stove on there suits its a horrible hotel

Had a whimsical night at this Hampton Inn, just sorta popped up outta nowhere! Very nice room & an exquisite pull out sofa. Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel tub & pool, all around fun experience!

If you have kidsrequest 1st floor. Apparently their floors have no insulation at all. Was called every night about noise complaints because my four year old was "crying and "running". Wow.2nd & 3rd floors are not pet friendly or kid friendly. Have never had an issue like this before. Based on other reviewsthis hotel was recently renovatedthey need to look into floor replacement. Honestly felt like I was on lock down after 8 p.m.
