I spent a couple nights here on a business trip. The room was great for the price. The ladies working the counter were all extremely nice. Breakfast was good as well. I'll definitely be staying here again in the future.
There was water damage and mildew around the shower and ceiling. There was hair all over the shower. The carpet had a decent size hole in it. The pillows and bed were very uncomfortable. It sounded like the room beside and above us were being remodeled until around 11pm. My 2 year daughter wouldn't go to sleep because it was so loud and our room was next to the hwy that sounded like a dragstrip until after midnight.
The rooms were very clean and the area was very quiet. Close to Walmart, kickback Jack's, and sheetz. Great breakfast in the morning
This Holiday Inn Express is in need of being updated and remodeled. I checked in with my wife and two small children to visit the zoo the next day. Rooms where small, Not clean, popcorn falling from bathroom ceiling. Worst of all, the AC was not working properly. Called front desk to move but no rooms available. It was after 3 a.m. before the room was finally to a comfortable temperature. The manager took $75 off the $135 room charge. Problem, i stayed at a Holiday Inn Express to get a decent nights rest.which is not what happened.
The staff was nice. There was no phone in our room. The rooms were clean but some spots of the building seemed worn out. Did weren't plum creating huge gaps in some time where the hell was visible. Some cosmetic issues. The pool had reasonable hours and was a comfortable temperature. Towels were available poolside. We stayed in a room butted up to the elevator and I'm a light sleeper and we had no issues, couldn't hear the elevator at all. The rooms were large with a king size bed, pull out couch and desk. The breakfast was tasty, cereal, bread, cinnamon rolls (my favorite) make your own pancakes station, sausage and eggs, fruit assortment, juices, yogurt, milk. Easy to get to, plenty of parking.
Clean and pest free! The staff is very friendly and you get what you pay for. Complimentary breakfast is provided and in abundance, with KCup coffee pots in each room. I will definitely stay again.
The building is just old and showing it's age in the details. There's plenty to eat in the area and the staff is nice. Internet is a little shotty but not bad. Beds are comfortable and clean. Definitely not horrible but it's nothing to write home about.
It was convenient to the areas that my wife and visited. The room that we got was superb. We got a King bed suite. Staff was helpful and polite. Only reason why not a 5 star is the complimentary breakfast was a little lacking in variety. As such if I could it would be 4.5 stars.
Very dissatisfied with this hotel. My wife and I were traveling with grandchildren so a crib was requested with initial reservation. We verified this 2 days prior to arrival. We arrived to our room and had to request it again. The bathroom smelled damp and the door was coming apart where the room had been flooded. We were given this info as we checked out. Not until later, once we were unpacked, did we notice the bathroom ceiling was missing tiles and we were able to see plumbing. The shower head couldn't be adjusted because it was loosely attached to the wall. As an IHG member I expect much more than this from Holiday Inn Express. There's no way we will return nor recommend this hotel.
We were able to do an early check-in which was great. The rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was a little cold to include the sausage and biscuits.
