You can find just about anything here. They can be a little pricey on some items. For example the smallest drinking glasses (not even a set) may cost 1.00 or more. My granddaughter wanted to know why the glasses were not .50. They also had donated Panther auditorium chairs for 75.00 each! Most of the helpers are polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. I go here anytime I am going to do home renovations. Great prices on tile!!!

Julia's Coffee and Used Book Store in Habitat for Humanity is an ideal spot to shop, spend time, read, work/study, and meet with friends. The frappes and pour-overs are great, the books are reasonably priced, and the money you spend there goes to a terrific cause.

THE PRICES ARE WAY TOO HIGH. I wouldn't mind paying for a good cause. All of their items are donated yet they turn around and mark up 80% of the retail price. Paying that much and you don't even get a warranty. I haven't seen very many houses being built in the Charlotte area. Seems like the executives should take a pay cut so they can build more houses if they're going to keep the price is as high as they are. The volunteers are wonderful!

I love coming here to look for the odd chair, pillow, stool, lamp, or picture frame. I've had to come a few times to find something in particular, but I rarely leave the store empty handed. Today, I bought an old stool [$3!] I'll strip, paint, and recover; and the guy in front of me bought several odd things like a bowl, decorated Tim, and trailer hitches. :)
Great deals (though watch some things are overpriced), and definitely a place to check out!

great selection of used furniture cabinets and building material. it's like a Home Depot thrift store. some of the furniture pieces can be pricier but there's still a few good finds. definitely cheaper than buying new cabinets if you can be flexible on size Etc. also an excellent vintage second hand Bookshop and the entire store helps a great cause

A word of advice when you're whole stores business model to help people is based on donations the least the manager could do is have some courtesy and customer service manners. I was in my way to get a uhaul to move and donate some of my older furniture and had called to see if they would accept it when the manager yells across the parking lot that unless I wanted my car towed that was private property and I couldn't park there. Didn't even give me a chance to explain he repeated himself again rather rudely shouting and asked if I had heard him the first time. I moved my car and got my uhaul went into the store to try and explain that I was donating items and he just glared at me and said did you hear me? I told him I wasn't parked on his property and that I was donating items to them, he just glared and walked away. I called the Salvation Army and they were courteous and grateful for the donations.

I did Volunteer work for this organization. Got the opportunity to see the ends and outs! I was able to get an overview of the help they provide throughout the community. I made a lot of people happy by giving great prices on a lot of Fab items. I thoroughly enjoyed my Volunteer time!!!!

I was at Wendover store to buy some small stemmed glasses. The displays were organized, clean & easy to shop from. I knew I could find just what I needed & I did. Also got cute Nespresso cup & saucer. There were a couple of ladies working in the kitchen/dining area this morning about 10:30. Please let them know how pleased I was with their tidy displays. I always appreciate people who take pride in their work-so thank you.
