Horrible service and they hit somebody almost every ride. Don’t ride amtrak
What a disgusting station. Charlotte, you can do better. The tunnel passengers walk through with mystery water dripping from the ceiling? Where is the nasty shrimp boat smell coming from? We are four hours from the coast! Horrible experience.
I've had all good experiences here: the agents are friendly and staff is very respectful. As for the homeless people, you don't even notice them, if they're around. The station is quite safe during the day (and possibly so at night). All positive for me, and I look forward to arriving and leaving on my train every time I'm in the Queen City. Charlotte's a big city, but Southern hospitality still lives there, although not as much.
The staff was wonderful. The flying roaches and homeless people with their odors need something done.
Arrived here this morning. ATM is out of service but the refreshment vending machines take debit cards. Excellent as far as I am concerned. Headed to Wilson after 7am. So far, so good. Safe, quiet and peaceful station. Enough said
Raleigh to Charlotte and we were supposed to arrive at 8:45, actual arrival was 10:15pm. Not sure how trains are normally scheduled and organized but they are doing something wrong.
Volunteer gave helpful information, nice staff comfortable seats, vending machines and free parking!
Other than the weather delay on the train from Wilson to Charlotte..everything was great..always is..I also think u guys should consider adding a charging station to charge phones and other electronic devicesespecially in wilson
Friendly staff but kind of dingy atmosphere and facilities need improving
Took a day trip from Charlotte to Raleigh. The station is mostly clean, a bit dated and assuredly in a less desirable part of town. However our car was still there when we returned.
The station staff was friendly. There are vending machines and I would buy some drinks and snacks before I left, or even better bring them with you.
The train was quite nice and clean. A few stops along the way. Most of them looked better than the Charlotte station. It was interesting to see some of the infrastructure along the train corridor. Some still used, some no longer in use. Passed a few trains. Overall a pleasurable experience. We were set to arrive at 3:15 P.M. and arrived on the dot.
