Nice course. Quiet, not usually busy. Lots of neighborhood events are held at the club house here.
I didn't actually golf, but I did dine and drink. The food was good as were the drinks. The staff was amazing and so helpful. We had good times.
Course was in good shape. Course has many many many elevated greens, so balls won't be rolling on. Also there are a lot of tight lies around the greens, so chipping needs to be done well.
Played the course on 6/30 and it was in great shape. The fairways were maintained and the greens rolled very well. The only downside which keeps me from giving a 5 star rating are the bunkers. The sand (or lack thereof) in the bunkers are horrible. It's like hitting off concrete. Hopefully they will get the bunkers straightened out. That being said, I will definitely play the course in the future.
I love almost everything about the course. Fairways in great shape, course layout is fantastic, rough and greens are excellent. The only thing that is preventing me from giving this a 5 star rating is the bunkers. They are in absolute miserable condition. They were simply unplayable when we went last week. I'm hoping with some time they will be fixed, but it was quite disappointing seeing the bunkers the way they were. As long as they can get the bunkers fixed, I'll definitely be coming back.
This greens and fairways are in great condition and Skybrook recently got new golf carts. I highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a round in Charlotte/Huntersville NC area.
I loved it here! We went for the seafood buffet later in the evening. Great food, great price and so friendly. We sat outside so we could watch the sky change colour as the sun went down. So relaxing. The house red was surprisingly delicious.
This is the worst golf coarse to go to. Tried it twice. Snack bar food is limited and you'll be belching up all day and &$$$$$$$$$. I don't think the health dept has eaten here. Bathrooms out of towels. Coarse is poorly groomed and well just go somewhere else. One area looks like brush fire happened on one side of coarse. Will never go thru a residential neighborhood to get to a swampland golfcoarse again!itself is the worst.
The fairways and tee boxes are in good condition, the greens roll smooth and fast, but you could go as far to say that they have lost 4-5 greens and nearly all have plenty of dead/bare patches. The course was fun to play as long as you can keep it in the short grass, you will not find your ball in the 4''-5'' thick rough, but that is part of the fun. I played on a Monday for $30 with free lunch included, I would say it was worth the price.
