I actually had a great experience there. I was experiencing a medical emergency and was treated promptly and respectfully. The nurse in the ED was amazing and knowledgeable. The ER doc was super nice

The PA and nurse that came in were great and very helpful. The woman who checked us in was rude and snotty I asked her twice to be sensitive as people that come in are in pain. She was not pleasant and had her coworker not stepped in and taken care of us we would have definitely left. Her customer service was terrible.

The hospital staff was wonderful until they moved my dad from post op to a room. They told us that the room was ready and to go up to the room and relax. They suggested getting his closet ready because we had been carrying his stuff around all day. When we got to the room, it was blocked by a cleaning cart. I pushed aside to see if someone was in there and the cleaning lady was sitting in the recliner watching tv!! She quickly got up and told me that she hadn't started cleaning the room yet. So my mom and I put our bags down in the hallway. Then a nurse told us that "the computer doesn't even say the room is ready. They never should have told you to come up here!" She basically made it seem like we were in the way. In the way of what? The cleaning lady's tv time???!!?? Up until that point, we had the best treatment we've ever had in a hospital. It's sad that two people can sour such a positive outlook we had on the hospital!

I went to the emergency room at 1:00 Christmas morning with severe gallbladder pain and there was maybe one other person in the ER besides myself and I couldn't get any treatment for an hour and a half. It's understandable that they would staff less people Christmas morning but it was pretty bad.
Then, after quite a bit more waiting and only one short test being done, I was admitted to the hospital at around 10:00 AM. I waited for another 3.5 hours, only talking with one doctor, and was then finally discharged.
My whole experience there was over twelve hours, when all I needed was to go to the ER and get some pain pills and a diagnosis. On the bright side, however, the nurses were all friendly and kind.response / report this review -

Snowbirds are not a new thing to this area. So clearly they need new ways to expedite patients. Not sure if it's the doctors that can't figure out which cases can be given fast tract, or maybe not enough doctors in general. They need a faster system. They move snail slow!
