Everything was as it should be. Clean, not one bug, everything worked, quiet, cold A/C, plenty of BBQ grills for cooking out with nice pick-nic tables with umbrellas. Competent, helpful staff. Especially Blair the maintenance man. Well be back!

Located just steps from the ocean, these cottages are so beautiful! Absolutely loved the hospitality and overall friendliness of everyone at Gulf Breeze Cottages. Very clean and gorgeously decorated, very highly recommended!

Nestled in a tranquil and tropical setting.
Rooms are modern, comfortable and relaxing. Beach access is extremely close to the cottages.
Gracious staff and very helpful.
Pricing is reasonable.
I will return for sure.

Disgusted-No respect or care for local residents-Now have retired in area, rates same for me as a tourist? Young man so RUDE on the phone OMG, beware! How can other comparable old school places built in 1950-60's maybe on island NEARBY charge UNDER $100 summer weekdays (not prime time weekend,) rates for senior citizen RESIDENT, charging same tourist rate rental places online to STRANGERS they don;t know? $200 daily rate off season May though Oct. Times have changed, for sureThis used to be run by woman my parents age, she must have passed away Years ago-my parents used to bring our family to Sanibel Island several times per year for years-we stayed here, Castaways, few other cottage type facilities. Real shame

We had a good weekend at Gulf Breeze Cottages. The proximity to the beach was the best part. Grounds of the property were well kept. The cottages were cozy and had what we needed for the price.
Only con is that inside the cottage was dated. Would be great if they upgraded inside the cottage; that would have made a world of a difference and also, replenishing the foot wash-off would have been great..one less thing for the guests to worry about that adds value. Other than that..place was very quiet, cottages cozy..overall our stay was good.

The cottage was cute and right off the beach. The kitchen had been stocked with dishes and kitchen appliances. Had the ability to make lots of ice. The rooms were small but cozy. The Internet was lacking in the evening because everyone shared the connections. Loved the shower to clean off the sand as you come from the beach.

One of the best thing about The Gulf Breeze Cottage is the location. The concierge and staff were very friendly. They were nice about recommending places to go. We had enough rooms for 5 people. The amenities were great. We had the greatest time. It's definitely a place to come back to.
