Really a tough review - Each shop is unique and provides something different than a neighboring shop

The Arcade is really great to wander and just marvel at the timeless beautiful architecture and craftsmanship!!

Great reprieve from the weather as well (regardless if it hot or cold!)

Every time I come to Asheville - I come to the Grove Arcade. This is a mall before mall's even existed. Truly a marvel in early collective commerce! I really enjoy the layout and the architecture. I understand this is from the 1920's and, to me, is the center of AVL commerce. I navigate using this location as the zero-point.

Loved wandering around in the grove arcade. The gem store was alot of fun and we got some delicious dried figs at the little market. The bookstore here was also really cool.
