Nice room, neat tree house bunch beds for the kids with their own tv. The buffet and pizza are decent. Neat candy shop and coffee/ice cream bar. The water park and arcade are cool. My only knock is the pricing, everything is on the higher side of hotel mark ups.
Took our family here on the way back from an east coast trip. Spent two nights and two days and the kids (and my wife and I) had a blast. Very fun and not super busy as we went in September. The attractions outside were already closed/winterized but everything inside was all we needed to have fun. Pleased with customer service and overall experience. Would stay again.
Great experience. When we arrived there wasn't a single problem checking in. Our room was already clean and ready. The room was really nice! One of the best hotel rooms. Not one reason why I wouldn't stay there. Once we checked in we went to the indoor swimming pool. The kids loved the mini obstacle course. Not to mention the slides were really cool! Me and my wife had lots of fun as well. The only thing I didn't really like is the staff. The staff seemed to be to busy talking to answer any of my questions. In fact the staff didn't really care. They looked like they were about to fall asleep. Otherwise it was an amazing family trip! I would definitely recommend it!
This was a great stay for families. The were a surprising amount of activities to keep the kids occupied. The water park was by far the best aspect of the stay. Make sure to do their early check in to avoid an hour and a half wait past your scheduled check in time. Also the buffet was small and rarely changed out. Make sure to get their during a peak time to get fresh food. Despite these hiccups, it was a fun time.
Fun indoor water park, the tube slides were great. Our room wasn't ready until almost 5 (an hour after check in time).
Upon leaving I stopped by the front desk to tell them our phone did not work, good thing I did because someone charged food to our room! They did take the charges off & told me they would review the charges & as of yet I have not been charged. Someone did not do their job & we almost paid for it!
As a returning customer we have been happy year after year with Great Wolf Lodge. The magiquest is fun, but wouldn’t recommend for a child under 6. We get the most out of the indoor water park. My kids loved the addition of the candy shop. The boys had fun in the arcade. Check the website for discounted rates if you are planning a trip in advance.
Went for the kids, hotel rooms were much bigger than expected. Water park was amazing. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. I would recommend to anyone to stay there. Will most likely return in the near future.
Nice hotel but hotel is pricier and pool closes at 8:30. Would be nice to have it open later. Nice buffet breakfast for $10 includes, beverage and tax. Have to book when. You reserve to get the reduced price. If not it's a 14.99 buffet and 1.79 for drink.
Our overall stay at Great Wolf Lodge was awesome. The room was beautiful and good sized and the price was reasonable, as it includes the park visit/ grand lobby fun. I wasn't able to hear families through the walls, and as I had two babies with us, that was important. The water park was oodles of fun, I loved the amount of toddler friendly activities! There were a few "downsides" the water pressure in our shower was almost non-existent and the "fitness room"( I'm not sure it could be truly considered that) was hot as the first layer of hades. My only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer and experience more of the park!
This place was Amazing! Well worth the steep tax and higher rates than competitor indoor resorts . One night stay was not enough, next time we will definitely book 2 at least. The park was clean, rooms were clean and fresh. The staff was courteous and helpful. The night time party time for kids was too awesome, everyone was laughing, dancing and smiling. Our return is highly anticipated by us!
The lodge was a great stop for the family on our way North. We have stayed at the Dallas/Grapevine location so we had high hopes. The room, water park, and customer service were great. We ate at the restaurant expecting great food (like Dallas). We could barely finish our meals. I've had better food at a chow hall in Afghanistan. The food deserves a D- It's a passing grade that you shouldn't be proud of.
Our family really enjoyed our stay. The water park had a lot to offer, the arcade was a nice surprise, and the food offerings makes your stay convenient. This hotel is perfect for families (younger and older kids). We got a good price for our stay (Wed night), I probably wouldn't pay much more though. We were told that by booking in advance you can keep the price low. Highly recommend for families.
The Great Wolf Lodge is a really fun place to take the kids for a getaway. The staff is outstanding. They are very polite and attentive. The water park is pretty solid. There are 3 slides that you can ride on tubes, and each one is unique. The kid area is a hit for small ones and also includes a couple of less rowdy slides. I didn't really care for the lazy river. The rooms are decent, they are probably due for a remodel or update. They were very clean.
I am a single mom with 3 very young daughters and we have had an amazing time so far! As you can tell by the fact that I'm still here and taking time to review. The employee's have been awesome and there are plenty of activities that cater to all age groups. Our room is plenty big enough and there is adventure at every corner. I needed milk for the baby at 3 a.m. I asked the front desk the closest place to buy it and he went Into the closed gift shop and gave me milk!!! I drove 500 miles with 3 little girls and it is well worth every mile!
