Argosy seems to be in collusion with police. Police will sit in parking lot wait for you to pull out and stop you. I had a warrant ..a traffic ticket..no left hand turn signal. I was arrested in nail I waz put in a tank of 33 guys . Out of those 33 31 of us had been arrested on Argosy casino parking lot that same nightand you better not smell like alcolohol. Was a good place ..argosy go on vacation leave on probation

I'm from out of town and visited Argosy Casino on a Friday night. It was a happening place, lots of slot machines, table games, high limit location, and smoke free area. Very Very smokey. The ventilation wasn't sufficient to clear the amount of smoke in the air. My eyes burned after an hour inside. Otherwise, it's a fairly nice casino.

I had the jumbo lump crab cakes and they were delicious. My husband had a steak and his favorite cream corn that is out of this world. This isn't your mom's cream corn. The atmosphere was nice and service was excellent.

The. hotel was very clean rooms are larger nicely decorated. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Restaurants food amazing! The casino clean bartenders new the drinks and were well mannard . Didn't win but had a wonderful time would defiantly stay again.🎉

Nice place but nothing extra special for the higher price. Nice large shower and casino is quaint. Was there on a Friday night so it was pretty busy and smoky. Buffet is basic but good.nothing out of the ordinary for the expensive price.

Leo's Deli has the best sandwiches! Parking is always convenient and the staff is friendly and professional. Fun place to gamble!

Brought my mom from Colorado for her birthday gift. I've never in my life spent $180/Night for a hotel room so I figured I couldn't go wrong! Checked in, room was nice and a great view of downtown. Could see the indention in the mattress from previous guests in mattress and was surprised because of cost of room. Went into the casino which was smaller than I expected and when signing up for players card was hoping for some sort of incentive like a small amount of free play money for having just spent that much on the room. I wasn't upset and was just excited to play. As we looked around the entire casino there were cigarette butts and ashes in the floor and dirty machines that I had to blow the ashes from to even use. Quickly lost our money which surprised me because I thought the machines would at least pay out just enough to keep us there for more than that little while. Went to the room to a clogged toilet. Later woke to find my mom in a full blown allergy/asthma attack at 4am. The smell of cigarette was so thick in our non smoking room so I knew something was wrong. I had a headache from it and didn't even want to breath. Decided to take a shower so we could just leave, and scalded myself with the bazillion degree hot water in the shower with a broken knob. Vacation here is over within hours. Going back to Colorado with bad memories and certainly wouldn't recommend.

Nice rooms with beautiful glass showers. Had a blast in the casino. Came out $250 ahead. All the restaurants were good. Hotel is very clean. Staff was very nice. There is no bell service. Look forward to visiting again.

I frequent this casino several times a month for the blackjack tables. I typically have pleasant experiences, until tonight. I am a very quiet person, but a pit manager, Ryan, consistently called me derogatory names and put me down.
At first, I ignored it and thought he may be simply unaware of the things he was saying. He watched several hands over the period of the evening and attacked me verbally by calling me a "degenerate," "neanderthal," "stupid," and by saying I was the worst player he'd seen
Eventually, I politely asked if he knew that the things he was saying were wrong, insulting and hurtful. I made him aware I am an English Lit teacher and told him exactly what he was saying- he didn't beleive me and I showed him the definitions on my mobile device. He then told me that he meant every word he said, and that if I was offended, I could leave.

My wife took me to the casino to play for a little while for my birthday. And it was okay. However the ventilation in the casino was terrible, and since my wife is allergic to cigarette smoke we couldn't stay very long. But I think with better ventilation it would be a great Casino for the Kansas City area!

We used to love going to the Argosy Casino, not any more. While the gaming facilities are very nice, the staff has taken a significant down turn. With the only exception of the Valet department other floor staff members are quite rude. I do not appreciate staff members walking right in front of me, cutting me off in mid stride. I will continue my rather excessive weekly casino visits at The Isle of Capri. Bye bye Argosy.

We checked in, this hotel is outstanding from other hotel that we went to! You can smell the fragrance inside the lobby, very neat & clean! Great Customer Service in front desk with Michael but some of them are not quite friendly with no smiling! Its worth it to stay even though its a little bit expensive for the package. Rooms are great its very elegant! Good food in the Buffet! I love the ceiling in Casino area! We will come back again!
