Pretty awesome! We had a completely renovated condo appointment Ed in Tommy Bahama style furnishings. The view was incredible. We watched the iron Man challenge from our balcony. Parking is plentiful but located across the street. Parking should be resolved with the proposed 3 story parking with walkover. PCB will have trollies running down the main street once they complete new under ground water lines. Can't wait for the future option to leave cars parked all week and use trollies to get around
You are better off staying in your car.
When we arrived, our unit had not been cleaned. We weren't early. There were styrofoam cups in the TV console, the floors hadn't been vacuumed, and there were pieces of trash in the couches. The unit hadn't been dusted. The microwave was dirty, the fridge had leftover over life in it, and there was a random bag of open ice!? Really, basic preparation hadn't been completed. So, I immediately called for assistance. They did send someone to clean. She was kind and cleaned up the obvious things. When she left we discovered morelike used towels in the bathroom cabinets. 🙄🙄🙄
This is a current situation. We are here cause we have invested money, it's Thanksgiving, and it would be hella expensive to place seven people somewhere else.
I am extremely displeased, unsatisfied, and I plan to strategically share this experience on multiple platforms.
Just stay somewhere else.
Staying in Unit 1502. Fantastic view. Clean. Nice decor. Pia quickly resolved a TV issue. Bring your own beach towels!
Very unprofessional and prejudice personnel. If I could leave a zero rating for star, I would. I was a guest stopping by to pick up things from my sister that was staying here with her family and our mom and when my son and I came out to leave, my car was towed. The night prior, the lady saw me park in same area without guest past and just told us to make sure we pick one up and that I was fine to park there that night without it. Well she never mentioned that my sister and her husband had to pay for an additional guest pass for us to park there or where to get it from. We were across the street from the condos and space was very limited. After visiting main office where they checked in to get a pass and find out where my car was, that office sent us back to the condo and said to go to 1st floor and they were supposed to provide all of that. My sister's husband went to find out where my vehicle was and was greeted with attitude and the guy seemed as if he didn't want to tell him where my vehicle was. Once we finally found it, the tow yard was closed but they somehow are magically open on a Sat to pick up vehicles but not open when we want to get our cars. Called number on their door and was told it would be a 15-30 min wait for someone to come so I could get my car. That turned into almost 2 hours of waiting at this place and ruined our family plans for the day, including me throwing an additional $122 down the drain that was budgeted for my son's vacation activities. I will NEVER EVER do business with Grandview East nor refer them to any other family members or friends EVER. Thank goodness my son and I stayed at a different condo because I would have checked out and left after this. I feel bad for the others that had their vehicles towed with no warning and then had to ride all around town to find the place where their vehicle was. Management needs to make it very clear that people staying here need to purchase additional guest passes for their guest, ahead of time, even if the guest is stopping by for 10-20 minutes. Ridiculous. And the elevator had only one side working the day we arrived when trying to help my sister and mom unload their vehicle. Stood there almost 35 mins waiting for elevator because there were so many waiting in the lobby. No access to stairs.
Great condo in the area!! Perfect for a family of 7or 8!!!! Great beach n ocean side view!!! We had a lot of fun here!!! I would recommend this to anyone!!! Condo was neatly decorated with a beach theme, all furniture and beds n chairs were very comfortable. Master bathroom is Huge n perfect! Wished the jacuzzi part of the tub was working though!!! Very very clean n awesome condo to stay!!! Lots of space!!!!! Lots of kitchen items to cook with n eat out of.lots of beach items to borrow and use while you are staying there! Great dishwasher, washer n dryer!! Large table with 8 chairs plus 4 bar stools to sit by the kitchen bar.regular parking is across the street.wheelchair parking available right beside the building.master bedroom is very spacious and lovely and has a patio door with also a screen to go out on the balcony or just enjoy the sounds of the ocean waves. The other king bedroom is lovely also.the other bathroom is wonderful!!! Also we loved that it had a utility room with washer n dryer to use. Has working elevators in the building.great beach access right there with a cold shower station to rinse the sand off before going back into condo! Also the living room has a large patio sliding door with screen also for access to the private balcony with a table and four chairs and one lounge chair. One thing that could better someone's stay is enough bath towels for the amount of people it says can stay there. There were enough wash cloths n hand towels for the bathrooms but not enough bath towels. Also only one kitchen towel and one kitchen wash cloth and one pot holder.Could use more. We loved the place and our stay and the air conditioner worked very well and we would definitely stay here again and recommend this to everyone!!!!! Thanks for the fun vacation at the ocean and lovely Beach!! It was not a crowded beach at all for the month of June, 2017! The Nightingales.
Room was in very good standing although a little dated with the big armoire and small tv. Couldn't get all the tv channels in one room. Never got a parking pass. Called both numbers that I had just to get the run around. I was told I would get one but never did. I am a disabled Veteran with license plates that shows and states that on the front and back of my vehicle. Got a GVE parking notice left on my vehicle threatening to have it towed. Had to end up parking around the corner in public parking and pay $5 a day because obviously if you don't have a GVE parking pass you can't park on their property PERIOD! Not even in overflow parking. Needless to say, won't ever stay there AGAIN!
This was by far the worst Condo we have ever rented. Was very disappointed with Sterling. The condo was dirty. Had dust on the furniture, stained wash clothes, old furniture that looked like it had been purchased at a yard sale. First night there couldn't turn the lights on in the master bedroom and when the repair man did come the next day he said it was due to some faulty wiring, so he placed tape over one of the wall switches in the room until it could be repaired, didn't happened before we left. The next morning when we got up and could see with the day light in the master bedroom, the bed sheets didn't look clean. They looked old and worn also .The comforter for the pull out bed in the living room was in one big lump, couldn't even use it (good thing kids had brought thaws with them). Unit had cracked tiles. Master bedroom carpet had really bad stain and needed replacing. They also lied about the parking. Had to cross a very busy street without crossing light to park across the street in a lot that had poor lighten. Not safe at all. They finally said my husband could move our car back over to the few places on the same side as the condo after they saw his handicapped sticker. DISABLE VET. When we went back to the office at Twin Palms where we checked in to give them our list of pre-existing damage or needed repairs and voice our complaints, the lady present had a don't care attitude. She just kept saying that Sterling didn't own the property , they just rent it. There was no place on site at the resort to go to ifyou needed aasistance. If Sterling is going to rent properties like this, we will find someone else to vacation with. Very very disappointed with Sterling and this property.
The parking is across the busy street with no enclosed bridge like other condos. There is no light or stop sign close by so crossing the street to get to your car is a major hassle. The room was dirty. My dad ran his finger along the bed rail and lifted A LOT of dust. The shower curtain liner in the hall bath was gross and had mildew. There were nor enough towels for everyone in our condo and the staff acted as if they were bothered to have to get us more. We go to Panama all the time (3 times out of the last 4 yrs and vacations) and we will never stay here again. The only reason we got stuck with this horrible place is because we wanted to go to pcb in the later part of the year for a change & decided to go kind of last minute and this was one of the few places to have a condo large enough for my family.
Stayed in the penthouse on top. Was nice overall, but amenities weren't provided well and some minor fixes were needed, such as bathroom door locks fixed.
Very great veiw. Area was huge. Great place to stay
Independently owned, quiet time at 10:00pm
Had to park across the street. Old outdated t. v.'s One 13 in. in one room,a 9 inch portable in another room, over priced, no good lighting, lamps in rooms with 45watt light bulbs,Fridge didn't work well,a and couldn't see tv in living room from nowhere but in front of tv ,big bulky entertainment center. It had a VCR tape player, the DVD player only played the movie in black and white. And no HBO. Really!!!!! Won't go back there no time soon.
