Had "surprise" inspections after multiple complaints from the neighbor, while the neighbor had multiple marijuana plants growing on the front porch. They would tell us that they left a slip on the door the previous day but in actuality we never received any slip notifying us of an inspection. This is illegal for any management who is renting out a home. We also received a 30-day-notice to vacate the premises after no infractions other than neighbor complaints, which were not grounded by any evidence. The 30-day-notice was not an official notice, it was not a legal document for eviction. I have left multiple voicemails over the last week and a half after getting a phone call saying they need to inspect before we vacate the premises. Have not picked up the phone nor have they returned my phone calls. The house is riddled with insects that have been here since we moved in. We were told they spent a week cleaning the house but when we arrived it was still as filthy as when we walked through and toured the property. They have refused to fix the bug issue and since we have put in "so many maintenance requests" concerning the bug issue, they started charging a $15 fee for the maintenance crew to do a walk through of the house and never return to fix the issue. Would not rent from this management again if I had the opportunity.

Rented from them for, four years. Went through a separation that left my ex with the home and apparently even in an EMERGENCY situation I'm responsible if he doesn't pay. I've been out for 6 weeks and still responsible until the end of October, due to not having transportation to get down there and sign a thirty notice of moving out. It was also very hard to get anybody there to fix anything. We had problems with our dish washer, a.c. and fridge all within the first year.

Rented a property for two years and can't say I enjoyed much of it when dealing with management. Repair calls where answered but it always took more effort on my part to get the whole work order completed, usually resulting in multiple trips for maintenance crew. If I had continued to live in Wichita I still would have left the property in search of better management/landlords. Wish I could say they were at least good at collecting checks but by the amount of letters offering "late fee forgiveness" that they sent out to residents I can't imagine they succeeded even in that aspect Consider your options if you have the opportunity.

Extremely unprofessional. "Macy" called me and made an appointment with me to show a house. She was a no-call no-show. I sat in the car with 3 grumpy teens waiting on her. The NEXT DAY, she finally responded to my voicemail. Acted like she didn't have a phone number for me. It sure worked just fine when she called me previously. If that is how they treat potential clients, I cannot imagine the way they treat a tenant with a problem.

Lived in one of they're properties almost 4 years, spent 2 years with no working ac. 2 weeks without a refrigerator. And 3 years with flooding problems. Maintenance response times are ridiculous. Once the lease is signed and they have money in hand entire demeanor changes. Employee retention is near impossible and the workers they do have talk badly about the company. Houses may look good and priced right, but definitely not worth it.

My friend is renting a duplex from Goshen Property Management. They changed his locks without telling him and gave the keys to his drug-addict neighbor who has already been in trouble with the law for stealing. This incompetence is borderline criminal. Fortunately for Goshen, this friend is far more merciful then I would have been.
