I’m lucky enough to live less than 5 minutes away from one of the best Chinese restaurants in Atlanta. Everything is so fresh and authentic. I’ve traveled all over the world and never had shrimp fried rice as delicious as The Golden Buddha. The servers are kind and fast!

The food is always really tasty here definitely try the Golden Buddha chicken it's wonderful the service is quick so if you're hungry your food will be out to you in less than 5 minutes. They are fast they don't play around, the staff have become familiar with my family of 5 when we come in they already know what we want they just come over greet us and say they usually and within moments are food is before our eyes. Also we really enjoyed the hot tea

I have been to this restaurant four times now. The food is actually okay. However, the servers and host do not treat black people well. I was a server for several years. I know the small shady things that are done to black tables. I tried to give the restaurant a chance because the food is okay. However, each time i have noticed their behavior is racist. The first time, one of my gift cards declined. I guess the lady thought that I didn't have the money. She sat and stared my family and I down, while we put together payment. SO VERY TACKY! Each time they have set me in the far back. The last time they had the nerve to tell me the amount that the tip should be. As if, I don't know how to tip.Very tacky. This has happened twice. And on top of that, can you believe they had the nerve to pack up the Caucasians food who sat next to us, but hand us the boxes? If that isn't blatant discrimination I don't know what to say. It's sickening. If you are black, see for yourself. They really need to work on this behavior asap!! I don't know if they need a younger staff member to talk to about this, but their behavior is not unnoticed. Tighten up! I will never support this place again.

GB reminds me very much of the American style Chinese restaurants I frequented during my youth in the 60's and 70's in terms of its ambiance and menu. My wife and I really enjoyed our dishes (very delicious and large) and service (first rate). It is far above the many run-of-the-mill Chinese places that abound. Prices are reasonable. I recommend it.

We went here during Hurricane Irma. IT WAS SLAMMED. Yet it was the best chinese food ive ever had. The princess shrimp amazing the general chicken amazing. The hot and sour soup yup best in GA. The service was fast and respectful. Easy 5 stars.

The dine in experience was not good here. I remember ordering chicken wings and it was only dough and no chicken. Most staff members here were unable to understand requests and were in a hurry to accommodate the next order. Its a standard Chinese dine in place but they can definitely do better.
Most of their soups taste good. The portion sizes are large considering the price. Their take out and home delivery services are excellent and they are available late in the nights on weekdays.response / report this review -

Very good somewhat Americanized Cantonese dishes, with some other styles as well. I have never had a disappointing dish here. It's not the most up to date interior, but it's relaxed and comfortable with a diverse clientele. Take out ordering is very efficient.

I've only eaten lunch at Golden Buddha over the years and it has awesome food! The food is consistently good-tasting with huge portions, very friendly staff, and quick service. I also like how they prepare their dishes. If you ask for a chicken dish, you'll get a lot of meat and little veggies (good). Most restaurants give you like a 50/50% of veggies and chicken. This is more like 95/5%!! The pork egg roll that comes with lunch is a meal in itself! --Very tasty!!

Sad to even have to write this as I have been going to this restaurant sense I can remember. Unfortunately my friends and I found dead gnats in 3 separate meals on our table.. The Manager was very generous and offered to make all of the meals over again and made sure I didn't pay for anything, but I thanked him for his offer and left.First it was the soup then I just pushed it aside and didn't eat it.Then the main courses came out and (my friends thought) we were ok on not finding anymore but a couple bites in and we start to find more. I will not come back to this restaurant until it is inspected. The food here is the best you'll find in the area, but bugs in my food is definitely a problem.

Amazing! We a actually made the mistake of ordering way too much food. We got potstickers, we each had soup, and we each ordered an entree. We could have shared one entree and still had leftovers. I mean the portions are ridiculously huge! And the best Mongolian beef I have ever had.

I'd give it 0.5 if I could, because I don't want it to be so crowded once you try it. just kidding; it actually deserves a 10. The food and service has always been exemplary, and if you come as often as we do, you get to know the waitstaff. Don't order the braised fish though. They absolutely do not know how to prepare fish.
