I had the first appointment this morning for windshield repair and was early. I was greeted and offered to have coffee and wait in their pleasant lounge area. Within minutes my truck was taken inside. I barely got a cup of coffee and the Tech came to see me. He said the damage was not a stone chip but just a scratch and that a repair was not necessary. He assured me I should not be concerned about it becoming serious. He also said not to use super glue as a temporary fix as it would interfere with a permanent repair. Lessons learned: Don't use super glue as a DIY and Glass Doctor is a honest and reputable establishment. I give them my highest recommendation.

I'm not sure whether to put this under their Valparaiso office or the Crown Point one so I'm doing both. The Glass Doctors were fantastic and I highly recommend them - I really can't praise them enough; I hope this review does them justice. First of all they returned my initial call almost immediately, which is rare these days for some reason. They came out the next day to give me an estimate, after confirming that it wasn't an emergency that needed an immediate fix. They gave me a schedule of when they'd do what, and fixed everything exactly when they said they would. The guys - Ron, Sean and Eric - really could not have been nicer or more considerate. (I specifically asked for their names so that I could give them credit.) The windows they fixed work beautifully now. I also had them replace two windows that didn't open - they were just panes of glass affixed to a frame. Those new windows - sliding windows with a screen - are they're exactly what I hoped they'd be, namely easy to maneuver, low-maintenance, and they fit in well with the rest of that room - which was no piece of cake since it's an ancient house full of stuff they stopped making 30 years ago. It was a great experience all around and I'm so happy with my windows!

I had the windshield on my pickup replaced at a very reasonable price. They were very professional they actually drove me home and picked me up when the vehicle was finished. I would recommend them to anyone.

We really wanted a simple, clean-looking shower door and also wanted a no-hassle install process. We definitely got this with Glass Doctor. Install went very smoothly, and the installers were professional and clean in every way. We are extremely pleased with the final product as our shower door looks and works out great. They have done a few different projects me now, and I will definitely use them in the future. They are up front, honest, and actually give you a call back (unlike some other glass companies in the area). Great business!
