I've been going to Salon Amara for about 3 years now and I love them. Abbie has been doing my hair since the start and I've never left unhappy. I'm very picky about my hair and every time I sit down she asks what I want. I tell her and I've never been disappointed. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I have been going to Salon Amara for nearly 5 years after going to my former hairdresser for 15 years. Carlene was awesome helping me make some major hair decisions. A few months ago she suggested I have Jordan do my nails. She is also great! All the staff is pleasant. Carlene and Jordan devote 100% of their time to me when I am there. I do not have to wait while other customers are being worked into their schedule. I love going!

I go to Salon Amara regularly to have my nails done. Recently I also had an ombré done. Turned out beautiful. Exactly what I was hoping for. I have never had one bad experience there, always being greeted with a cup of coffee or tea when I walk in. I have had bad experiences in the past with my hair, but Salon Amara did it for me. I trust them and their expertise on styling of hair as well as managing my nails. As far as other salons go, I feel they are reasonably priced to others in the area. Salon Amara for the win!

I've been going to Salon Amara for nearly 15 years. Everyone at the salon consistently provides phenomenal customer service, up to and including the friendly, professional front desk staff. I've also received nearly every service that Salon Amara offers. My experiences have involved outstanding color, cut and styles from all of the talented stylists, including from the owner Jo Anne herself. Laura tirelessly worked on my hair to perfect my full head of gorgeous extensions that she maintained for me for many years. We had the entire salon to ourselves on my wedding day, which entailed up-do styles by several stylists and beautiful makeup by Erin for myself and my entire (very large) wedding party. I've had hair styling by Laura and makeup by Erin for my own professional photography sessions, fantastic manicures and pedicures by Jordan, wonderfully relaxing massages by Kiara, and could never have been happier with any of the services I received. I recommend Salon Amara to everyone I speak with in Northwest Indiana.
