Great atmosphere. Great food, live entertainment. Beer and hard liquor is also sold here. Excellent place to watch the sunset with your significant other. Kids friendly.

This place has great drinks and finger food and often has live music and performances. A bar area, chairs to sit on and to lay on. A little patience goes a long way here and most people I know who visit the keys stop here.

Fun place. Great location. Awesome drinks. Plenty of space. Phenomenal view. Live music. Good Happy Hour. Good pretzel (only thing we ate). Water view. Beer 🍻 Games.

This place is very relax. The rooms were recently remodeled and their pool was made bigger. You can dock your boat there if you'd like. On weekends they usually have a live band playing and a few vendors selling souvenirs. Good food, good drinks and great bartenders. You can rent a jet ski or kayak on site.

Great spot for all. Tiki bars & a swimming area for the kids. They also have bands, or magic shows (or both). The food isn't our favorite. We usually stick to wings & smoked fish dip but I recommend it for a lazy day in the keys. Sunday's are usually packed and you have to park on top on the bridge but they usually have a shuttle to take you down.

Most of the staff is great, please see and take care the bartender Kim, Asian American that knows what she is doing, be honest and she will be a amazing at giving you a great Island Drinking Experience, which we all look for!, managers pretty understanding and good, I am here to help and work. The breakfast lady is great and always has a smile. The people that come here are very diverse, which is great. Will be a great experience when you visit or stay, the bar the great.

The rooms and bathrooms have been immaculately remade with high end finishes. Housekeeping is on top of their game. First floor rooms have cute patio areas that open out onto a dock, which faces a waterway between the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. It makes for a picturesque boat parade view. The resort has a marina, small private beach and a tiki hut restaurant/bar with good food and entertainment. The newly decorated and clean rooms, coupled with the friendly staff, make this a great option for the Florida Keys. The honest truth is that most hotels in the Florida Keys do not offer rooms with such a high standard in terms of furnishings and cleanliness. This newly remodeled resort is a sure winner :)

The place was packed with people parking everywhere which okay as the resort had shuttles ferrying people back and forth. Live bands playing something for everyone. Menu choices was varied and of course there were the adult beverages. I counted three bars, tables all over with the breeze coming off of the water made for an enjoyable afternoon. Well visit again

Hello everyone!
This is true story and shock me! I had check in a lot of hotel, motel resort and even luxury one but never been the place have the costumer service like this here in GILBERT'S RESORT ( if I can give you guys 1 millions negative star I would like to do that) the costumer service the room the staff are so terrible and racist( hey remember this is freedom and no racist country and remember where is you guys from?) the lady in office with the brown hair is so terrible and I don't know why you guys hide her. She have nothing about treat a costumer not yelled costumer.. but anyway there is so worst. If you guys don't believe me then go check it but recommended don't go there. And in key largo they have a lot Hotel and resort better than this resort 100 time. Watch out for the hotel rule they can cheated on you. Only thing I like it here they have nice view .Sorry to tell you the true! Thanks

Stayed at Gilberts the weekend of July 23rd 2017 with my husband, two daughters and their husbands. The place is deplorable, full of mosquitoes, pool was closed, they say they have renovated didn't see where , our room had holes on the ceiling, the towel rack was missing a portion of it, the shower curtain kept on falling hitting us on our feet, the bathroom sink's hardware was all rusted and missing the middle piece, the window you couldn't even open it because it was missing the screen and the mosquitoes were just waiting to get in. When you would enter the room, mosquitoes would come in with you!!!. Breakfast was terrible, they close it at 10:00am and if you got there at 9:45 and there were no eggs guess what you weren't having them, when you would ask they would say nope almost closing. THEY SAY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED that's a joke!!! what breakfast!!! bagels and cereals and get there on time!!! Complained, but, nothing happened, then called back on Monday, waited a whole week before the so called manager called me and was rude!! AGAIN THE PLACE IS TERRIBLE plus extremely expensive, lots of great places to stay further down!!!

Place is Outdoorsy great view and lots of boats. Food is ok I have had better but is fine. You com here for the drinks, view and people. There is a live band most weekends and a magic show that's pretty good. When there is bon and someone is always playing on stage. Even under the rain people stop here for a drink and good times. Our servers are always petty good and have not had any bad experiences here. Been coming since 1984👍🏻

One of the best places to enjoy what the Keys has to offer. Great food, beach, live music, water access, amazing views, a place to stay and some of the best boat drinks around! The restaurant staff are some of the best out here in Key Largo. They accommodate boaters and have plenty of space for bikers as well. You can rent a water craft from someone at the beach, shop for a lil island flair and listen to some of the best South Florida music! Hope to see you there!

The several bands I was lucky to hear over a three day weekend we're fantastically talented. I enjoyed dancing and signing along. A bit too loud, I love feeling music, but still too loud. So with that being said Don't expect to be able to carry on a simple conversation. The fish sandwiches that we all had were enjoyable. And the drinks were wonderful. It's a great place to go for a Sunset and a weekend getaway. There were lots of children enjoying the sandy beach and the water. It was also nice to see doggies allowed. I was on my own boat, so I cannot comment about the resort.
