Beautiful place and great meals if you are having a private family dinning event. Otherwise, the service is really so-so.
Here was the connected villa I stayed in not to extravagant or decorative but nice
This is a very beautiful place. As my husband and I were looking for places to have our wedding we knew this was the place from first day we saw it. It was perfect for our fairytale wedding. Chris was a wonderful hostess throughout the planning. She's such a kind lady and helped to reduce some of the stress of wedding planning. Very friendly & helpful staff, especially Isaiah who was such a gentleman and very helpful even when he just saw us in passing by. I see a bright future for this young man with working with people. My only complaint is that this place is not very handicapped accessible to get into the rooms. The rooms are all very beautiful but the handicapped accessibility could be updated. To end on a positive note: the gardens, rooms & overall venue are beautiful!! The food is fabulous, very flavorful & delicious! It's a bit pricey but worth every penny. This place will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Chris: thank you for making Annie feel welcome too. We look forward to returning soon when we want a special place to get away from reality & celebrate being together.
When we spent part of our honeymoon at Geneva on the lake in 2012 we were very disappointed. The furniture and kitchen we're soarly outdated. They boast stickley furniture but it looked as though it all had belonged to someone's grandmother. And the kitchen looked straight out of the 80's. It was tacky. The grounds and the quaint little dining room were very pretty though. For the amount of money that we spent I expected a lot more than a hide away bed! Overall it was very unimpressive and we don't know what the big deal is about. I hope that they have done a major overhall on the rooms since we were last there.
Exceptional! From the service to accommodations. Very clean! The staff can not do enough for you. Highly recommended!!!
The staff here is exceptional, Isaiah and Andrew in particular were absolutely the best people in a hotel that I ever stayed. The grounds are gorgeous and again the staff was exceptional.
Very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful location, clean, decadent rooms. Would return in a heartbeat for a nice weekend away!
Lovely brunch buffet for Mother's Day. A couple of the items were not to our taste but, overall, an excellent spread for a very reasonable price. I particularly enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. The guests were packed in, so there wasn't much room to maneuver between the tables but, nobody was in a rush and everyone was very polite, so it wasn't a problem. Also, despite the number of people in the small space, it wasn't a loud venue by any means - very easy to have a conversation over the courses. They could do with more than one bathroom, though. The gardens with views over the lake and back to the "Villa" were lovely and well worth a post-brunch stroll.
Service was exceptional and the staff was very welcoming. We stayed one night and had dinner; the filet and duck breast was cooked wonderfully. The rooms are quaint and charming with a classic feel.
My wife and I loved it there so much we will be back in the summer. The food was amazing especially the prime rib and rack of lamb. For dessert the Bananas Foster is to die forwe loved it so much at the end if our candle lit dinner. Plus the wine selection was on pont. Accommodations were great and the view was breath taking.
Roll was fairly large, basically a small apartment. I was in B2C. Nice little wine and cheese tasting on Friday night. Dinner was a bit pricey but decent. I had track of lamb buy it was just a little too done for me. Grounds are nice and walkable. Good views of the lake.
