Our ten old cat Izzy was having lots of stomach issues and Dr. Aaron Smiley diagnosed her with food allergies. Since we have changed her diet to special food she has been a different cat. She is calmer, more comfortable and no stomach issues. Thanks Dr. Smiley!

We just got back from an impromptu visit here - we hadn't come to Geist Station before. However, our new rescue dog was having some issues we needed checked out ASAP after work, and our normal vet didn't have any appointments until morning. Geist was open later and said to come right over. The doctor was smart and shared all of his thoughts and knowledge with us, and told us more about our dog than our normal vet could! We are now considering changing our "regular" vet choice to Geist!

Best place to take your pets. I jumped around from Vet to Vet before i found this place. They always treat my pets like they are one of their own. Great staff and great Doctors.

I love this place! I've been loyally bringing my beloved pets to Geist Station Animal Hospital for years and have had nothing but positive experiences! I have always been treated with respect, compassion, and understanding by all staff members. They have always been intelligent and extremely helpful. I've had problems with other vets who didn't care about me or my animals, even after being with them for several years, and have often had issues with kennel staff while boarding my pets, but never at Geist Station.
If you're unwilling to pay for quality service, including a full exam from a truly qualified and experienced vet, take your pets to the FACE clinic, because at Geist Station you'll be paying for the highest quality care your pet could receive away from home!

This animal hospital is very unethical and knows nothing about customer service. I brought my dog in simply to be groomed and, because she was also due for her vaccinations, I asked them to vaccinate her while she was there. At the end of her appointment, we were charged $55.00 for a "wellness consultation" that I did not request or authorize. I never even met the veterinarian. The front desk employee argued with me and insisted that all vets charge this fee. Well, I have taken my dog many places and have NEVER been charged a consultation fee in addition to $70 for the vaccinations. Furthermore, if this is your policy, you should at the very least make your customers aware of this before the service instead of sneaking it on the bill. VERY UNETHICAL. And, on top of this, my dog was there from 8:30 in the morning until 5:30 in the afternoon. How long does it take to groom a dog???? She was very stressed when she returned home.

There are many wonderful places who care about their customers and the animals they care for. This is not one of them. Do yourself and your beloved pets a favor and avoid this place at all costs!!!!
