My only experience was for an emergency in the wee hours of the morning. My dog, a 14 year old diabetic, presented with a bloated stomach. My worst fear came true; her stomach had twisted. The vet explained what would happen, step by step, if I chose surgery. She then explained that given my dog's age and being a diabetic, her odds of survival were very low. Once I had all the facts, I made the difficult decision. I am thankful for their patience with me and know that, given the situation, they gave my dog the best care possible in the short time she was there. I contacted my own vet the next morning, explaining the details and he was in complete agreement with their assessment and the decision I made. I hope to not have to make another visit with my other dog, but if an emergency occurs at night, I'll know who to contact.
Very clean, professional, and caring. We can’t thank Dr. Ball and her staff enough for helping us to make the best decision for our Bella, and for us. Our only regret is that we didn’t come to you sooner. Thank you for caring for all of us.
I just recently took my 11year old cat there yesterday because she couldn't walk ad in pain. They took my cat away and did an exam of $89 and said she has a failing liver and in critical condition and they said it $1500 and more to fix her and because I don't have the money to pay down the same day then send my cat home to die and she died that same night. I believe animals have just enough right to life as we do. But money is more important to them than a dying cat to them.its makes me really angry cause I loved her. RIP brownie
Thank you so much to the caring staff at Noah's Animal Hospital for taking such great care of my sweet 14 year old dog, Cooper in his final moments. The staff was so good with him and with my husband and I and I am so grateful. I received a beautiful card from the three staff members who cared for us with beautiful messages to me. It touched my heart and I thank them so much. They made a very upsetting situation bearable and it meant a lot to me. Thank you. Brooke Freeman
I was impressed with everyone I came into contact with: from the receptionist who answered my questions on the phone, to the vet who sat down with me to explain what was going on with my cat and gave me resources I could later look up. The staff got my cat in as soon as I got there despite being previously told there may be a wait. I was very pleased with my experience!
I just purchased a English Bulldog puppy and he caught kennel cough. It was late on a Tuesday night and I called around and found Noah's. I was happy with the kindness over the phone and IMPRESSED with the service I received in the office. They were more than careful entering and exiting the room each time to make sure other pets were protected. Dr. Dori was amazing and so very nice to make us feel at ease. We received some meds and left. A couple of days later my poor pet stopped eating entirely and I returned early this morning to yet again for greeted by Dr. Dori she explained everything that she felt should be done and I admitted my pup. Through the day I was updated and kept informed. I lie that I have found my new permanent vet. I would highly recommend them.
They were very nice friendly and accommodating. I brought a kitten that someone literally left outside my apartment complex with a food and water bowl because she seemed ill and she had a few parasites an an ear infection :(. They were super nice and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions fully and showed me how to give my cat her ear drops (yes we took her in!)
I have a six year old cat that I adopted when she was three so I've never taken care of a kitten and they were super helpful with information and explained her treatment well. I was scared because i didn't know what was wrong with her and they made me feel better and cared for her super well.
Definitely come here if you have a problem with your pet. I went to the Millersville rd location (I think that's what it's called) which is a 24 hour one that also deals in emergency care. Absolutely recommend!!!
Unfortunately, we had to put our 14.5yo malteese poodle down while visiting Indianapolis a week ago and chose this clinic as they were open on Sundays and had the best prices from the calls we made. Our experience was as wonderful as we could ever have hoped. The entire staff of nurses and the doctor who saw us were so kind and gracious. We were not regular patients, but they treated us as if we had been for years. Continually, they asked if we needed more time to say our goodbyes and made sure we were comfortable during this difficult time with no rush whatsoever. They also took plenty of time to get to know us and share our memories of our precious little dog before leaving, even shedding tears with us. We HIGHLY recommend this clinic as they showed us that they care much more about the well being of our pets than just being a business. And we must add that we received a beautiful card in the mail only days later with 3 hand-written notes from the nurses and doctor that treated us during our visit offering their sympathy and condolences. We were extremely impressed with this clinic.
People are very friendly and caring. The prices are reasonable and they offer packages. Never have had to wait more than 15 minutes. Great vet that's not within a pet store chain.
Incredibly professional and caring folks that work there. Our dog was in critical condition and dying in our arms. They tried all they could for him and respected our wishes to allow him to pass on. They even sent us a condolences card. Our dog was our baby, so we thank you for helping us through such a difficult time! Thank you for your hard work.
My little Millie got very sick and was in the Noah's hospital for 3 days. She is now home and doing very well. Dr. Edwards and the entire staff are the best. Thank you all
Normally I only write restaurant reviews but feel compelled to write this review, as it's important for me to let others and Noah's know about my experience with this clinic. I have a 12 year old Yorkie and an 11 year old Weimaraner. My dogs have been going to this Noah's since the day I brought them home. Additionally, as a child we always took our dogs here. I always remember Noah's being a very customer friendly clinic. The vets and techs were extremely nice, caring and truly cared about pets and people. When you walked in you knew the employees and they knew you. It felt like family. Since I can remember, this location has always had issues with scheduling and long wait times. Even with an appointment I'd wait 30 minutes before seeing a vet. They leave you sitting in the lobby and then the tiny exam room for way too long. When someone finally opens the door it's a tech asking you questions that are usually unnecessary (because the info is in the system). The tech then has to write down that information, leave the room and then finally a vet will come in 5 minutes later. This is what I dealt with for years. I knew I would always end up spending way too much time in that office even for a simple vaccination. Partly, I believe the long wait times are because they are an emergency clinic and get a lot of walk-ins but some of it is just bad service. However, I always dealt with that because the people were so nice. Unfortunately, in recent years I started noticing that the vets and techs that had been there for years started disappearing. I kept going because it was what I was used to and I still felt comfortable. However, as new vets and techs were hired the atmosphere started to change. These people were not friendly at all and seemed to only care about money. It's like these people weren't even bothering to look at charts or history. I had a vet speak to me like I was a first DAY dog owner when I once came in. Had she bothered to look in the records she'd know I've been coming to Noah's for over 20 years. I then got extremely fed up with their pricing. I started calling around and found out they were often times charging double or even triple compared to other clinics. The last straw came when I needed both my dog's teeth cleaned. Not only did I need to suddenly pay an extra $150 (per dog) for the canine flu vaccine to get their teeth cleaned, but when it was all said and done I would walk out paying almost $1,000 for cleaningsNO extractions. This is when I finally said NO MORE. I called another clinic, who got both my dogs in within a few days and they both got their teeth cleaned for around $400. Walking into that clinic, I realized I'd forgotten what it was like to have people be friendly and really care about you and your pets. I also realized even more how Noah's was taking my money. Most clinics are on a yearly exam schedule, Noah's requires every 6 months. At one time Sentinel at Noah's was close to $30 a pill, I get it now for $6-10. I could go on but I will stop. The point is, I have officially decided to take my business elsewhere. It's sad but this place isn't what it used to be.
Found an injured kitten under my wife's car after work. I live just down the road so I brought the cat here. They refused to even look at it unless I signed financial responsibility. They told me to take it to the humane society. So off I drove after a long nights work, poor baby died in my wife's arms on the way. To not even look at an injured animal should be considered neglect. Probably notHong could have been done to save a life, but probably could have eased suffering. The cat was struggling to breathe and was bleeding. Worst animal hospital I've every seen.
I am new to Indy and my beloved cat of ten years and many, many adventures, Musette fell ill very suddenly over the Christmas holiday. Not knowing where to go, I quickly searched and found that Noah's Animal Hospital was open. I called, and was told to come right in. Our wait was short, and they immediately placed her on oxygen. The vet came in and shared what info she had and encouraged an x-ray, which we had done, later explaining the results to me. Alas, there was not much they could do for her. They were incredibly compassionate, sharing options with me to transition her peacefully. They gave me time to be with her and I said my goodbyes. I agreed to have her cremated and they provided me with the details I needed to do so. It was a completely shocking, unexpected experience, and they did everything to help me cope. Approximately a week later, they sent me a kind condolence card for the loss of my Muse which was a kind and considerate gesture. I no longer have a pet, but if I should ever select another, Noah's Animal Hospital will be my preferred veterinarian home. I thank you for your kindness in a very difficult and unanticipated New Year's Day tragedy; your staff is amazing.
