We arrived to the hotel on Christmas weekend
Expecting the unexpected, based on the reviews that this hotel has it seemed to good to be true, but guess what it is true..
This place is the best place we have ever stayed at.
The customer service is excellent, EVERYONE is so friendly we shared experiences with them that we have never shared anywhere else.
They have thee best breakfast
the room was super super super clean. Usually when I go to hotels I lay blankets down because I feel as though the beds haven't been cleaned enough but this place I was able to sleep at ease and rest my head comfortably.
I love that they have so much space to sit in the lobby, they have a few fireplaces .. beautiful sitting areas and did I mention the customer service.. was excellent. We are from Miami and we went looking for a good place to spend Christmas, nevertheless this was the perfect place as we sat around the fireplace opening Christmas gifts we ran outside and to our amazement it started to snow
the snow, the Christmas decor, the cabin feel, the service, the food everything came together to make it possible for us to have a wonderful Christmas. Thank you Gatlinburg Inn, we will definitely come back again.

Hubby and I were here for Christmas. Very quaint, wood floors , clean, in the middle of everything in Gatlinburg TN. You can walk everywhere. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was really nice. Cookies in afternoon. Quite. Will be returning

This was a wonderful inn! From walking on the porch with the fire to coming in the front door with smiles at the front desk. This is an older place but with modern updates that don't take away from it's charm. They have a full breakfast ready every morning and absolutely worth eating there instead of waiting in never-ending lines anywhere else! We can't wait for our next stay!

We loved it, it's very retro, in the original sense. I sat on the balcony at 5 a.m. listening to the peaceful sound of the river. It doesn't have all of the amenities you get in a newer hotel, no gym, no microwave or fridge in the room but it was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff was wonderful. And the breakfast - the best i have had at a hotel. Also rocking chairs and a fireplace on the front porch so you can sit and people watch. A couple weird things happened - some heavy breathing and the locked bathroom door opening a couple times so my husband swears it is haunted as rumored.

Was very warm and inviting. The vintage atmosphere was very appealing to my parents. The porch out front was beautiful with a great view of the strip with a beautiful fireplace to sit by. I see why is booked up. Beds could be bigger and the bathroom want cleaned that great, as the toilet seat had some spots on it. They were fully booked so assume was just cleaned too fast. The amazing hot breakfast made me forget all about it though. Will go back, (Just might bring Lysol wipes in case lol).

Have stayed at the Gatlinburg Inn several rimes over the years. Love the location & convenience. It has been much improved in the last few years & will certainly stay there when in the area.

The location is perfectly placed right in the middle of downtown Gatlinburg. The room had a charming old school look and feel to it. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommended.

The rooms are pleasant. Plenty of drawer space and modern bathroom with the expected touches for a hotel like hair dryer, iron, and coffee maker. Excellent continental breakfast offering everything from yogurt, cereal, bagels, muffins, eggs coffee, tea, and waffles.

The only negative experience is trying to get into the parking area. Traffic is horrible anytime except morning, and if you are approaching from the wrong side, expect to spend 20 minutes trying to turn around and come back. My advice would be to try to get in early morning if possible and not move your car until you are ready to go home.

If you love history then you will love to stay at the historic Gatlinburg Inn. It's like going back in time. I simply loved the atmosphere there. It is center right in the middle of downtown. So it's in walking distance to everything. You never have to drive your car. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Ask for Tammy or Caleb they are wonderful. And if you are lucky Caleb may even play the piano and sing for you in the parlor. I would not stay anywhere else. I hope to return real soon!

A very old hotel. Once you get used to the wonky floors it is great! Awesome guest service and the pool is nice. Nice scenery with close locatation to eberything on the strip.

We stayed here for the first time. It is an older style hotel. Welcomed change everyone was friendly and helpful. So many places to go walking distance. Will stay here again. Enjoyed our time.

Although the location was good and the rocking chairs were a nice touch, we were very disappointed with our stay. The room above ours was so Loud that we called the front desk. The woman was basically giving lame answers and didn't act like she cared. She even asked if we were sure it was loud. Of course nothing was done about. Every time we were in the room and it went on until midnight.The pillows were too soft ,not comfortable at all. Room didn't have any air circulation even with air conditioner on. The breakfast was average..nothing that great. We have stayed in other Gatlinburg hotels.Thought this one sounded so nice.Wish we would of stayed else where and been able to enjoy our stay.

So many shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The staff was exceptional. The rooms were well kept. Enjoyed the stay and will be back when possible.

Very vintage but very clean! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us, easy walk everywhere with kids. Breakfast was nicer than most continental breakfasts you find at chain hotels. The fireplaces outside and In the sitting room of the inn were great! It was past time for a bathroom remodel in our room but I see they have already remodeled a few. A few room updates without hurting the character/decor would make this place perfect! If you like Inn's, history..this is a great choice !
