Far too expensive, especially for a bar-like environment. Extremely loud (though that is expexted). Food is decent, but not worth the price.

The atmosphere and beer selection was good, so was the chili. However, when it came to the entrees (the purpose of the visit) I was extremely disappointed. Mediocre would have been nice, but it wasn't even that. The prime rib was a horrible cut of meat and had no flavor. The pittsburgher was also low quality meat. The sauerkraut was disgusting and the bread was too soggy to eat halfway through the meal. First visit.last visit.

I eat at the Gateway Grill a few times a month. Today was different. The Wednesday special is the NY strip steak w two sides for $15 and some change. I received a coupon in the mail & asked my waitress if I could use the coupon. The waitress told me that I could. Dinner was okay (steak didn't have much seasoning). After finishing dinner, we were ready to pay for our tab, a guy comes to our table with no introduction and says "You can't use the coupon" and walks away. I later found out that he is the manager. As a manager of a store, you should at a minimum say hello, state who you are, state why the coupon cannot be used, apologize (remember the waitress told us we could the coupon), and maybe offer some remediation. He made me feel as though I was a criminal or like I was trying to get over. The manager then prints out the bill without the Wednesday special price. Instead of $15 and some change. The bill was $19.99. The bill was eventually adjusted. The whole experience was unfriendly and unprofessional. That is not how you handle business.

We went for breakfast today and the service and food were both disappointing. I don't mind waiting for my food on just days, but an hour and a half for eggs and toast is a bit much. When we finally got the food it was cold and my veggie omelet only had onions and tomatoes in it (there are several more veggies listed on the menu description) This place used to be excellent. Maybe a change in management? Idk but I hope they can return to their former standard of quality!

Great local place. Ribs were absolutely fall-off-the-bone (as promised by my waitress!). Great selection of draft beers. Pizza looked amazing. I'll be back.

All in all, this was a great dining experience. Huge beer selection, and grill menu was what you would expect. I wish my bacon was a little better quality on my burger but it is what it is. Fries are fresh cut and delicious.

Good ribs, nice mild flavor of the salmon. Good service. The atmosphere was very much a bar type place with 16 TVs. Make sure to use the takeout door at the end if you need to get in without steps.

We were looking for a place that still served breakfast on a Monday afternoon and they serve breakfast until 2 p.m. It was great. Excellent pancakes, eggs the way you want them, sausages come in either patty or link and you get your choice. Hash browns or home fries. Choice of breads for toast and they were all excellent like from a bakery. Easy to find from the Turnpike exit and back to it. It's in a small strip of stores on the far left end. The parking lot is a bit tight and crazy though. Definitely family-friendly.

The food was decent and had generous proportions. The draft beer was lacking.

Ordered wings and zucchini strips. Huge breaded and fried zucchini slices. Every wing was naked and had plenty of meat. The flavoring, Cajun and spicy seasoning, was okay. Reasonable pricing.

They have a huge beer selection. Ordered 2 different draft beers before I realized that it was flat-ish. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say there was an issue with the CO2 system that night. But minus a star, because I had to bring it to their attention.

Overall a nice place. Decent food with good portion sizes, a large beer selection, and a nice ambiance.

The Pittsburgh Style Pizza is the best in Monroeville. Great beer selection and wings, as well. Highly recommend the Gateway Grill.

Nice place and good service. Not as big as I thought but it was nice and roomy. The food was good. The price was a little higher but the portions were huge. The Italian hoagie was humongous and they use real ham not lunch meat. I recommend the Cuban. Fries were or seemed to be fresh cut.
