This place is fantastic, beautiful setting, vale parking,awesome food and the wait staff is incredible. Took my fiance here for her birthday and turned out to be the best meal we have ever had. Due to the quiet dinning setting, the waitress leaned over while dropping off desert and sang my girl a quiet personal happy birthday song (not your typical happy birthday), which I could barely hear if at all, but it brought her to tears, and she hardly ever cries. This is why im rolling with 5 stars. The service is impeccable. P.S. I highly reccomend the bison or the elk, absolutely superb.

App was good. Service started well but stalled.

Wife loved her wild boar. My crab stuffed flounder special was like a fish stick roll up.

Pumpkin cheesecake Dessert was stale.

Liquor was good.

Should have been a better experience for what it isvery disappointed.

Probably one of the top 3 meals I've eaten in my life! I had the Elk, my wife had the Emu both new experiences for us. We were not disappointed.

Incredible. Amazing. Delicious. There are not enough words in the English language to describe the mouth watering experience that is The Gamekeeper. Go. Experience it. You will not, CAN NOT, be disappointed with the service or the unbelievable food! Worth every penny! And, side note, order the Bread Pudding. Heaven on a plate.

If you're in Boone this is the place to go - but be sure to get a reservation ahead of time - we were lucky b/c we like to eat late, and turns out by the end of our meal we were the only two guests in the restaurant - adventurous food, everything was excellent

Food is outstanding, does seem a little over priced but who knows what the overhead costs are on being that high up. There website says they have GF options when in reality they don't, not even GF pasta. The main courses range from $45 to $55. The bread pudding is a must!

We had wonderful service from our waitress Taylor. She took the time to describe dishes that were new to us and made great recommendations. The food was wonderful. We enjoyed the elk, bison tenderloin and duck confit crepes. Beautiful setting. This is a great place for a nice dinner as a couple or with friends. Outstanding food with good portion sizes.
