Great campground with lots of trees and an old Florida feel. Very well maintained. Heat pool, shuffleboard, horseshoes, basketball, dances (during winter seaon) and more. Kayaking and canoeing from launch in park into Terra Ceia Reserve.
Staff and residents/campers we're very welcoming and friendly. This is the best run RV park I have stayed at to date. Would go back.
Beautifully manicured property that accommodates your every need. The only place I can relax and enjoy nature, the people and escape every day life. A must to visit.
Had a great time. Very clean and well kept. The staff are super Nice! Loved our kayaking trip on the creek. We will be back soon!
Kayaking the creek was beautiful. Campsites were average. Note that cable is not available for weekend travelers, but you pick up quite a few stations over the air.
Really relaxing for camp grounds My first time really enjoyed it
Really nice staff, clean park and great facilities. Lots of things to do. We will be back.
Pros: everyone is very nice. The employees go out of their way to make you happy. The bathrooms and park is extremely clean and well maintained. The pool is refreshing and they have noodles and floats to share with you. It's very quiet and not overcrowded. The gators are awesome entertainment.
Cons: it's a bit more expensive than other camp sites at $80/2 nights for a tent site. Plus it's extra per person over 4 people. So it was originally $86 for the 5 of us, but they give a little bit of a discount for Florida residents. The mosquitoes and bugs are horrible so bring plenty of bug spray and the fan helped a lot. The bathrooms are a little far from the sites. At least for me after surgery, I had to drive each time I went. And they only allow one tent per site, so bring a big one.
All & all, we had fun. It was relaxing and we would recommend it.
Decent campground with amenities. Granite countertops in bathroom. Snarky receptionist.
Nice clean campground!! Staff are kind, professional and respectful as long as you respect the campground. it's like a family environment when you Explorer the campground. The RV and tent camping area are separated so you can enjoy the camping experience better. Would recommend this place to friends and family! Just a FYI if you're planning to Camp here just follow up with some of the rules and you will have a wonderful time here! Oh in the morning there is a train that is nearby and a little noisy but I call it at wake up call LOL
Nice campground site beautiful trees arregment with all you can expect from pool to kayaking close to the beaches
Pretty campsites, lots of large canopy oaks with Spanish moss. Fun activities, right on Frog Creek, great paddling. Very clean, friendly staff. On the negative, campsites are close together, no privacy, no screening from one campsite to another. But we found all of our neighbors to be very friendly. Enjoyed our stay, will come back.
