Good staff. Only decent ER in the area they saved my life once and saved my other parts of my clumsy body several times. ER wait times are very variable, yes, they take people in priority order, but sometimes there is a wait when empty. They are fully integrated with Froedtert Main hospital, so, one can travel between the various Froedtert locations and your electronic records go with you. Would not go any where else in Washington County.
Will try to stay away from this place. they try to milk every penny outta you and keep you aslong as they can. i was there 4hrs in an empty emergancy room. The doctor didnt know what was wrong with my hand he said "it might be pulled ligaments posibly need surgery". so his best advise was if it hurts in a few day go see a specialist and will go from there. Two days later i went to see my dad where he said ''kid your thumbs dislocated here let me see it" and he pulled on it fast and set it back into place. With know medical experiance my dad had fixed my hand . I will not be paying this doctor, because i got better advice from people with know medical experiance. i hope and prey to god know one with real medical issues gets this doctor because you will get alot of ums, ahhhs and maybe. If you take your car to a mechanic and he dosent fix your car would you pay him. If you hire a roofer to fix your roof and it still leaks would you pay him. No so you can send me a bill but i will be taking it right to my lawyer. For stress and lost day of work. This is not the fist time ive gone here and been miss treated.
Very on professional with patient and family members. Needs to learn more complicated behavior with people. Some there fault and some was not but more was their fault andvDr. On call what a joke. Be careful if you can I would go somewhere else.
Staff was very helpful and kind. Dr. Scarlett and Jesse Edwards handled everything. Put me at ease under a high stress situation. Dr. Figueroa Castro helped me understand and the rest of the staff made me feel comfortable and safe.
Brought my husband in ER with heart attack symtoms. The doctors, nurses and staff were so on task, fast and compassionate. He had a heart attack on the ER table! They took action immediately and we're so well orchestrated as a team, they didn't miss a beat and saved his life and further damage!! The ambulance drivers the drove him to Froedtert we're informative, compassionate and fast!! We Thank You all greatly from the bottom of our hearts!! Many Blessings to you all!
We've been here for various reasons, usually kid's well check ups Just about every time, whatever the reason or room great service! This place is filled with kind and talented people. For me, that's still a big five stars given the number of times we've been here and only once was I disappointed in only one person.
I have nothing but positive things to say about St. Joseph's Hospital in West Bend.
Particularly the labor and delivery unit. I have had all three of my babies here and I work as a Doula and have attended births here as well. Both personally and professionally, I can say you will receive evidence based care here, will be treated with respect, and you will feel right at home! Nurse Midwife Liz Malecha is hands-down phenomenal. It's so nice to have a local hospital offer midwifery care!
Amazing, caring nursing staff.
My wife calls me at work b4 1:30 and tells me she has to go to the er and I know due to the ice there are a lot of people but she has been waiting to get seen and after over two hours of waiting we finally get seen the worst service ever
I had a knife accident last week Friday while setting up for Deer Fest and knew I was going to need stitches. These guys were just across the street so away I went. The service was both friendly and prompt. Very professional and what I liked the most about my brief visit was the attitude about some other things the doctor picked up on like my knee brace. He asked what was going on with it and I told him it needed to be replaced, his quick response was "we can take care of that" he then question my hand not laying flat on the table and I told him I needed carpal tunnel done on both hands to which he replied " we can take care of that to" Great people, great service wish I could be seen by their doctors as they made me feel welcome!
I would first just like to thank nurse Vicki who was a floating nurse in the birth center. She was incredibly supportive and comforting when there were believed to be complications with my baby. She as well as OB tech Christin went above and beyond throughout our stay to make sure we were taken care of! Labor and delivery nurse Natalie was also amazing. Overall we had a great stay and the staff was amazing and very helpful, minus the special nursery nurse and a pediatrician who very incorrectly misdiagnosed the situation through unethical bullying techniques, including first kicking my baby's father out of the room to question me and then separating my baby and I for several hours as he was transported to Children's before I was able to get discharged from just having a C-section, that resulted in two nights at Children's hospital to find out my baby is PERFECTLY healthy. As much unnecessary major stress and panic the pedetrician caused me post C-section, I do understand her reasoning. Although I do understand that she was looking out for the welfare of my baby without knowing me personally, I find it very unprofessional she never followed up on the situation or came back to apologize for the unnecessary stress and expenses. On a side note, I would really like to thank the transport team from Children's for being so supportive and comforting in this VERY stressful situation. Finally, I would like to thank Sue the LC for calling me personally to find out about my baby's well being as well as my own. She was also very informative and helpful with my start to breastfeeding as well as going above and beyond during and following our stay at St. Joe's to help me out!
