We live in Hillsville, Va. When deciding on whether to drive to Blacksburg, VA to see a movie or to Mt. Airy, NC, we choose Mt. Airy because of the friendly staff, clean facilities and easy parking. The popcorn is awesome too! :)

Movie was great although it took us a long time to stand at the counter and wait for tickets. This was on a Saturday night and there was only one register open.

Its the only theater in mt airy. If it had competition maybe theyd try harder but it's ridiculously over priced and the video qualities not even that good. Drive to Winston if you have the choice or go on Tuesday when it's $6.

I've never had a bad experience at this theater. Prices are comparable to other movie theaters, but I visited on "Tightwad Tuesday" so tickets for regular films all day were five dollars. Ladies room was reasonably clean. Parking was easily accessible. Theater is located in close proximity to area restaurants.

I have been going to this 🎥 for years. The staff is great, management is always on there toes to make sure people are happy and satisfied. There are new things coming so I've been told, like reclining seats, some type of restaurant and the staff is giving it a new paint job now looks great.. Prices are decent when u look at what type of theatre your going to.. The only reason I gave it a 4 🌟 rating is because there is always room for improvement and that is anywhere u go.. Thanks for all these wonderful years of great movies and kind staff

Movie place is GREAT!
EXCEPT the bathrooms.WHY did you HAVE to put in an AUTOMATIC smelly "air freshener" right in your face ON the toilet paper dispenser?? Every little motion comes an explosion of suffocating chemical "air freshener" (PUKE!) its one to put in on the wall as you walk in the room - finebut not ok to be in your face :/

This is a nice theater. Usually clean and well maintained. Good selection of movies and show times. The only downside here is that their ticket prices are high. Movies (and refreshments) in Galax and Wytheville are much cheaper for the same features, but we sometimes come here because they offer the movie we want to see when our other local theaters don't have it.

Nice theater. Only aggravation is having to purchase tickets at the concession stand behind families and kids offering lots of snacks and I didn't get there early.
