Halfway up (or down) I-77 this gem sits at the CC Camp exit. Food is very good and plentifully plated. Service is above and beyond. Look for the pirate ship on the roof! Relaxing ambiance. You'll be glad you ate here.

Food and quantity better than expected. Service could be better, but maybe specific to our server. Felt like server wanted to be somewhere else.

This treasure of a restaurant is buried in the mountains of North Carolina. If you are ever driving on I-77 near Elkin, you must dine at this pirate-themed restaurant. If you choose not to eat here, you may as well walk the plank because you have made a grave mistake. Immediately, you are shipped from the mountains of North Carolina to the open seas. This architectural marvel is modeled after a sixteenth century swashbuckling pirating vessel. Whoever was the interior designer for this establishment should be awarded the highest of honors. From the Pirate Seafood Pasta to the Buccaneer's Fried Seafood Feast, the cuisine is nothing shy of pure gold. I truly could not recommend this restaurant more for any age group. Not only was the wait staff dressed in traditional pirate garb, but they were cheerful and overwhelmingly accommodating.

Cool place to eat. All 5 of us loved our meal and service. Would be even better if you had small children! Our table had grilled chicken, seafood platters, chicken tenders and everything was really good at a good price!

Cool decor and uniforms. The dining area is bigger on the inside than I expected. Brought out hushpuppies and butter for the table as soon as we were seated. Service was a little slow for our group of ten and they tried to bring everything out at once instead of when it was done, but the food was warm and had great flavor. No beer on draft but a decent selection of bottled brews and wine. Definitely a family restaurant. Good selection of fresh seafood either fried or broiled.

Really cool place to visit. I figured it would be a goofy stop for dinner on our way through, but ended up being a really nice choice. The building looks cool, like a big pirate ship, and has huge ponds outside filled with Koi that makes it look like it is on the water, or over a pier. The inside is nicely decorated and interesting. There is a unique seating method inside that has a ramp going up to the kitchen, and seating levels branching off to the sides. My wife noticed that even with lots of people there, it ended up being very quiet due to this, which was appreciated. My steak was a bit overcooked, but not a big deal.

The food here is excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. The pirate setting and decorations were a refreshing change from your regular restaurant. The wait staff was very nice and helpful. Even the outside of the restaurant was quite special and a refreshing change.

Food was fresh and hot, service was excellent, and a great surprise at the end of our meal- kids eat free on Thursdays. Will definitely be back. Loved the atmosphere.

Had a wonderful experience celebrating my grandmothers 60th birthday here. Not only was the food great but having Robert Lewis wait on us was the highlight of the night. He was very fun and kept all 4 of the kids in our family having the best time. Definitely the most helpful and hospitable waiter I have ever encountered. He definitely deserves the recognition for not only being a wonderful waiter but for having the best personality that isn't so easily found.

Had the prime rib. It was bland, dry and looked like processed meat. Like spam. My kids didn't even bother eating much of their meals. Chicken tenders and fish were dry. All of our food just seemed old. Our waitress was awful. Forgot to order some of our food. We used to love coming here for the environment alone, but not anymore. During our visit, another customer in a booth near us was having a conversation with her friends and every other word out of her mouth was a F-bomb or some other curse word. It has just gone down hill in the past 10 years.
