Excellent winery with very good wines. Very nice setting and easy to get to.
Great wines, nice tasting room. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Tasty cheese and fruit tray. Very nice seating area outside. Sometimes they have a live band, would make a great place to host an event.
Not impressed. Wine is just ok but not worth the $8 charge for tasting 5 wines. Don't waste your time.
Great staff, very reasonably priced, and wines you can count on year after year. One of our favorite stops!
We enjoyed the whites way more than the reds. The facilities are very nice. Our server was friendly but rushed us thru the tasting and we were the only group in the room.
Very nice atmosphere! Great wines and very friendly staff. Great way to spend an afternoon! Worth the stop off the interstate!!!
RayLen is by far by favorite winery in the region, and my husband and I have been to most of the wineries. The staff are always so friendly and RayLen has fun events all the time. The atmosphere is great, the wines are all amazing (way better then most of the other wines in the region) AND totally affordable. Most of their bottles are between $10 and $25. So, not only do the wines taste great, but they also don't break the bank. I 100% recommend this place!!!
We always have a great time at RayLen. They have such an interesting history, and for a smaller winery produce a great variety of traditional French varietals that have classic taste with a hint of North Carolina terroir. Definitely the place to go if you want to escape to a more classic experience.
The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. We definitely come just for a glass and to sit outside. Bring cheese and toast or crackers for a relaxing afternoon!
A great wine for every day. Nice to pick up lunch on the way and sit on porch or under the picnic patio and have a glass of wine. Great staff who take care of Crew Club members.
Very beautiful winery just disappointed that we drove 40 miles to get to this winery to be told they just stopped wine tastings at 4:30. We were 5 minutes too late, we could just buy bottles to go. Why would you say you are open until 5pm or ask how far we travelled?? We stated we just wanted to taste a couple red wines and buy a few bottles to go. They didn't care! Horrible customer service. Would not recommend this place due to the rudeness!
My sister Amy, my best friend Ashley & myself visited Raylen yesterday. We drove out there which was a 1hr50min for us one way. We all did the $10 sample plan - it was an awesome experience. I'm fairly new to wine, only drinking it for about 2 years. Our host, Anna - was top notch. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly & down to earth. After our tasting we all toured the winery & she went into more details about how they make their wines. We went to a local BBQ place & brought it back & enjoyed lunch outside. What a awesome day! I'd recommend this to anyone & would most definitely go back! Thank you, Anna & Raylen Vinegyards for a great girls day out!
