My boyfriend took me out for a date night a week ago. It felt like we were forgotten about by our waitress and it took a very long time for our main course to arrive. Upon our first bite both my dish and my boyfriends were TOO SALTY (so salty my throat burned and I felt ill through the next day)! We ate very little of our dish and waited again for a long time for our server to return, when we complained nothing was done. I left VERY angry, which is why it took me a week to write a review.

It has become our favorite place. Food is fantastic, PA's veal is the best, creame puffs are out of this world.

The best date night place we have ever been to. Twice. My wife and I live in Winston Salem and heard about this place and wanted to try it. We went for a date night and it is our favorite restaurant. The food is amazing, with great specials going on each time we went. The wine is fantastic and goes well with the food. The atmosphere is magical, they have a rustic-ish look with some nice lighting and string lights around, with nice classic music like Sinatra playing at just the right volume so you can still hear your date across the table. The service was also great. I really can't say enough great things about this place. Each date night here was truly wondeful. The cost is somewhat higher than a standard restaurant, but not astronomical, and is very much worth it for a fancy night out.

Always had good experiences until today (04Mar2017). Placed takeout order, were told chicken dishes were dine-in only. Weird, but we ordered something else. Asked about desserts, were told they were out of what we wanted. Annoying, but no big deal. We arrived at restaurant at time told over phone. Our order isn't ready and we see the dessert we wanted on display. We ask about it and are told they are for dine-in only. None of these restrictions are listed on the web page so we tell waiter that we have a sick family member in hospice care at home and just want to bring one home to her. We know we're asking a favor, but they're right there in a display case. He says he'll ask the manager so we go into bar to order drinks while we wait. After 15 min no one enters bar to take our drink order, even after an employee pokes his head in and clearly sees us waiting. We go back to front and our order isn't ready and the guy never spoke to manager. We're pretty upset over how we've been treated, so we impolitely tell him to go talk to the manager now. We see him and manager go into a room at the back and after several more minutes no one comes back tp speam with us. We're way too angry now so we just leave. We will never go back.

I am gluten-free, and they have gluten free menu. The food was absolutely delicious. I cleaned my plate. definitely recommend!
