Very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to earn your business and make sure your experience is very positive. I worked with Tommy and all my questions and concerns were answered and met. Very pleased with their service and quality vehicles. Hard to find anything negative to say,,,,,, at first.

I traded in a 2002 vehicle which I had just filled the gas tank and it was verbally stated they would do the same on the new used vehicle I was purchasing. Half tank was I got.

My interaction and transaction went so quickly that I did not realize the vehicle didn't have a spare tire. After being told they would get me one a week or so went by and they offered to sell me one.

Also, when I went to register the vehicle I had to pay $20 cash to have a vin inspection completed which in IMHO the dealer should have done prior to selling.

After contacting my sales rep Tommy, he had the finance department write me a check to reimburse for the vin inspection, got me a new spare tire, and filled the gas tank.

I would recommend this dealership and more specifically Tommy to anyone. If you're in the market for a quality used vehicle ask for Tommy. If he's not readily available, wait, he's worth it.

Keith Mitchell was amazing as our sales contact! He went above and beyond provide the best customer service he could. He is someone you can trust, we highly recommend him if you are looking for a new or used vehicle.

Thank you, Mattis and both Bretts for helping to provide the best customer service possible and resolving the issues with both used vehicles we'd purchased. We can not thank you enough!

Absolutely disappointed in the sales department. I got in contact with a sales manager to find me a car. He paired me up with one of his salesmen who told me he would have results and would contact me in a couple of days. Well here I am MONTHS later and still have not heard a word from them. I would not recommend Flint Hills Ford for any car needs. The worst part was I got in contact with another salesman and they also failed. They must not be too eager to sell cars. I was ready to purchase a vehicle and they failed to deliver.

Purchased a used vehicle from Flint Hills and my experience in the end was completely subpar and I left feeling completely dissatisfied. Upon purchase I was told the vehicle had been serviced within the month and I didn't need to worry anytime soon because it hadn't been driven only to find out it had been driven and once home and figuring out what all the lights and gadgets meant I discovered my oil was at 30% and two days later the service light came on so when I couldn't get in with Flint Hills for an oil change I went to my usual service place and they informed me the vehicle also needed a new cabin filter which was filthy, the power steering and transmission needed to be flushed and a corroded completely rusted out bracket holding the muffler to the exhaust needed to be replaced. I took care of the oil, filter and bracket that day but was completely annoyed that these things had not been taken care of prior to my buying the car from this dealer. I contacted them the next day and they righted that by offering to service the vehicle. They also offered to reimburse me for the money I paid out to another provider but the process of it all goes on. I brought the car back at the end of that week for the service to the power steering and transmission a 2.5 hour wait, as I watched my vehicle be put on the lift a good hour in and then finally serviced at roughly the 2 hr mark. Also forgot to mention having to redo the financing paperwork as they didn't have all their ducks in a row. I was supposed to pick up the reimbursement check same day after I was told Tuesday it would be ready to go for meno check, was told to come back later that afternoon. I called back around 3pm was told office manager was on vacation and now it would be Monday. Monday rolls around I call the sales floor manager and was told the check was ready to go I let him know I would come pick it up around my lunch hour. Lunch hour I drive clear across town and surprise, no check, it had to be signed by the manager who just left for an appt minutes before I got there! Then they offer to deliver the check to me, something that should have been done when I was there the first time and was inconvenienced. Needless to say the whole process was a complete inconvenience to me and my time and the time I had to take off from work. Will not be returning in the future.

This is an update from a previous review of the dealership. Before I get started the purchasing portion with Edward and Rick was outstanding and we couldn't have been happier. Now to the bad part. The finance portion has been a disaster. They screwed up the paperwork bad enough that we had to drive back to the dealership twice because they didn't input the correct information the first time. They didn't get the ten day payoff check out in time which has been a fight all together with the bank and this process started on the 12th of August. It is not the 6th of September and this is STILL not resolved. We contacted the dealership a week ago and they were supposed to send the remainder payout check to us and have yet to do so. So now the GM has to be involved. The finance department needs an update in efficiency because a customer shouldn't have to drive 20 miles one way just to redo paperwork that should have been correct the first time around. I am sure these guys mean well and I'm willing to bet the GM calls back and says that they will have a check out today and all but time will tell. So the ball is in their court, lets see what they do with it.

This review is specifically for the auto body shop : Recently, our 2014 Hyundai Elantra was rear-ended and needed repairs. The repairs cost several thousands of dollars. Our point of contact was Ryan Dembkowski from the start. Ryan was good at communicating and made sure our needs were met. He was respectful to both myself and my wife and was clear with his estimate for repair. The shop needed our vehicle for about a week since parts needed to be ordered. During that time, Ryan worked with USAA and Enterprise to coordinate a rental car for us. This process was smooth and without problems. Ryan was easy to reach on the phone and was always polite and had a "can-do" attitude. He was willing to give me updates, send pictures I requested, and made sure we did a thorough walk-around the day we picked the car up. The repairs seem very high quality and we have had no issues thus far. We also appreciated the car's interior being detailed before we picked it up. Thanks Ryan!

These people are rip off artists they over billed me by $314.oo for the services that they preformed. When I called them on it they dropped the overcharge to $100.00. That is still too much but I had to pay it to get my vehicle back. They do NOT get jobs done on time either. I would not let these guys change a wheel on my 5 year old grandson's little red wagon! They would try to charge you a thousand bucks to do that. By the way I am ASE Certified diesel mechanic that works on class 8 trucks. I just do not like to work on my own vehicle as my time needs to be spent on other areas. I will NEVER take anything to this place again! They are also $30.00 higher than their quick lube shop on labour, but the quick lube is not allowed to charge the A/C system.

What an experience! Amazing people there at the dealership. One that stood out was a young man by the of Lloyd. He was stupendous great with speaking and a great helper to find what I wanted. Constantly went the extra mile and valued the time. He answered the question correctly and if he didn't know the answer he didn't just make something up he would go and ask to give me the best answer possible. Though the staff should work on some communication, they still did a tremendous job. Jo thank you for everything as well. Lloyd keep up the good work!

I bought a used car from Flint Hills auto last Friday (March 31), and everyone there was helpful, polite, and friendly the whole time. I first spoke with Brittney, who helped me schedule a test drive for the beginning of the week. Before that appointment happened, the car I was planning to see got sold: because of that, I was worried I might not find a good car in my price range, and I told Brittney I'd have to look more at their website before rescheduling. But she followed up shortly after that, double-checking my price range, and let me know there were several more options that just hadn't made it to their website yet. The fact that she followed up so quickly, and tried to help me find options in my price range was awesome.

I ended up test driving 3 cars on Thursday with Steve, and he was really helpful the whole time. He mentioned a few other cars that might work for me if I didn't like the first 3, none of them far from my desired price range, which was great because I was trying to make a decision that day. I ended up loving the 2nd car I drove, which was listed at a great price for the condition it was in (it was lower mileage, and almost like new, especially compared to what I thought I would be able get with my budget). I came back on Friday to figure out financing & trade-in, which went smoothly, and ended up with a great used car by the end of the day Friday.

I'd never purchased a car before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the whole process was great, and everything seemed very fair! I only really worked with Brittney & Steve (and I think Cameron for financing?), and they were awesome, but everyone else working there was very friendly too! Thanks!

Best car buying service I've ever encountered. Great friendly staff that worked hard to get the cars my wife and I wanted. If you are looking for a new or used car I would recommend this place. Ask for Corey. He's the one who helped us and I couldn't imagine a better sales representative.

I have to let everyone know about my experience with FLINT HILLS FORD in Manhattan. I had gone there when it was called Dick Edwards and after being lied to and treated poorly by a service advisor I stopped going. It is now under new management and the lying service advisor was fired. On Thursday I had to have a repair on my transmission. Today I got in my car and it would not start- tried but would not turn over. I called the dealership right away and am embarrassed to admit I thoroughly tested their commitment to customer service. I was put in touch with the owner of the dealership. He sent a master tech and someone else to my house. They ran diagnostics, apologized for the trouble, and fixed the issue at no cost! He had offered to tow the car to the dealership for free but I requested a cursory check prior to towing and he made it happen. I am beyond thrilled with how he handled me as an angry and late for work customer, their honesty in the issue they discovered, the no charge diagnostic/repair and their promptness. They have earned my loyalty! If you had a bad taste in your mouth while it was still Dick Edwards I encourage you to go back now that they "cleaned house" and have new management and ownership- you won't be disappointed!

It has been 8 years since I have purchased a car and was a bit nervous about car shopping. After learning that the salesmen at this dealership do not make commission for the cars sold, I knew this was the place for me. Jace Carlin helped me find the right vehicle for the right price. Since, this was my first time getting a car loan the GM Jerry was very helpful at getting me financed and at a good rate.

Let me start off by saying I live 3 hours away from Flint Hills Automotive but because this dealership had the vehicle I wanted at a price no other dealership was able to compete with, I made the journey to Manhattan KS. Before I arrived I had been communicating with Bret about the vehicle I wanted and he was very easy to work with, answered all my questions and followed up with me where necessary. Upon arriving to the dealership I began working with Ted who was also wonderful. I didn't feel pressured or harassed like I normally do at dealerships which was a huge plus. I was able to test drive the vehicle I wanted and the team at Flint Hills addressed any areas of concern that I had without question. Thanks to Ted and Bret I was able to take home the vehicle I wanted which made the 6 hour round trip drive worth it. I'm very happy with my decision and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great vehicle buying experience. Thank you!!!

Such a great experience! We love our "new to us" car and couldn't have asked for a better car buying experience. The staff was professional from start to finish. Steve was very helpful and assisted me in finding the perfect car, and Jim in finance was very professional and very fast! Everything was quick and to the point! They have a wonderful selection of both new and used cars and will treat you right! Can't beat the LIFETIME power train warranty that my car came with either!! Thank you!
