Larger than average double rooms and friendly staff. Location is pretty good as it is round the corner from Grand Central Station. Overall I was pleased to have stayed at the Fitzpatrick and would recommend it.

We’ll probably sound biased here because were Irish, but of the 4 hotels we visited in the US, this was the most impressive when it came to customer service. The hotel itself is a little dated and our room had no view, but it was clean and a good size. When it comes to customer service, other American Hotels could learn a lot from the Fitzpatrick. The receptionists were all lovely, and Mikey, the concierge was extremely helpful, he took time to go through the maps with us to help us to get our bearings. As the name implies, the hotel is situated close to Grand General Station, which was great.

Well Done Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel.

exceeded my expectations. Great location. Took about an hour via cab from JFK on a Friday afternoon. Everybody knew their job AND wanted to please the customer. The room was clean. Small but i did book last minute and took what was available. The bar is very nice. Outdoor sitting. Great service. Will definitely stay here again!!!!!

This was a great hotel. It felt more like staying in an apartment -- the room was comfortable and the perfect size, and the furnishings had personality. Everything from the toiletries to the furniture arrangement showed care and thought. I wish I had stayed longer!

Great hotel for the price. Amazing location, near grand central Station. Lexington Avenue are so nice. Proximity to pizza places and all you can ask for. One of the greatest bars is located in the ground floor. The rooms are spacious and a bit old. The service is nice, no more. No view from the windows. Best location and room size for the price, although not the cheapest

Nice hotel, great staff. had a great chat with them on arrival and throughout our stay. The room was a good size, the bead was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The location was great for I had planned a walking tour of the city from this location. The Chrysler Building and Grand Central were only a block away. The Empire State Building was about 10 blocks and Times square was about 4 long blocks. The Irish Pub downstairs was busy and loud. Upon checking out the place, we found a quieter section with bench seating. The staff at the Pub were very helpful and accommodating.

It was an excellent location at just a block from Grand Central. Getting around the city was very easy. The staff was extremely nice and the room was well kept. It's an older hotel that has been maintained well and is valued perfect. I would stay here again. Amenities will not be five stars, but it was pleasant. Great job guys.

On the plus side, the hotel is attractive, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well equipped and spacious. Good location in Midtown. The downside: service is inconsistent. Lack of attention to detail is the problem - one bath towel and robe for two people, some desk staff more interested in looking at computers than interacting with guests, and the bellmen on duty on the weekend were far from helpful.

Please send this to whoever is in charge! I am so upset. Located in the heart of Manhattan, I expected to come to the reservation I wanted. After speaking on the phone to customer service and asking for advice .at the front desk they gave no help. I wanted two beds and i got a one king size bed. I did not pay that much for one bed. On top of that there were no amenities for sale, they had no toothpaste. and etc. I wanted to heat food up and there was no microwave either. Worse service ever! Came from Pennsylvania and this was my worse experience ever. I hope to get a free night with better service the next time I come. I am so disappointed!!!!!!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel took excellent care of us and the whole experience felt high end. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas with complimentary hot chocolate. The rooms were comfortable. My only complaint is that we could hear road noise in our room (we faced out to the street), but the weather was humid during our stay, so we turned the a/c on and couldn't hear the road noise anymore. I would recommend this hotel.
