I stopped for food on the way back for school. The quality of the food was good (but not excellent). The sandwich (BLT) was great, but the sides (chips and a pickle spear) were a bit sad. Overall a good place to stop to eat, on the way through town.

Cool local coffeeshop and bookstore!

The food and coffee are amazingly delicious!
As my friend put it, the food is prepared with love and care.

I wish I could visit this place more often, as it seems that there are different events happening throughout the week, including live music.

If you're in the area, you must stop by here! :)

Great choice of build your own sandwich. Clam chowder was delicious. Mostly lunch fare. Good coffee. Our Finnish exchange student chose this place. She was pleasantly surprised to find a book of Finnish folk songs. Printed in 1939 in her homeland. Wonderful atmosphere !

I feel like such a jerk for not earring here before! It's a delightful place. Clean, neat, good menu. It's a bookstore, not a library. They also sell art. This is now my go-to place in Munising for coffee and breakfast.

I always stop in here when I visit my parents. Prices are a little more than you average coffee shop and not as many options, but coffee is good. There are almond and soy milk for those who need them. Food is delicious! My sister loves the gluten free whitefish bagel. More than anything they have great local books, artworks, and other goods, and a really cozy atmosphere (and clean bathrooms)!

Very sweet people, nice and friendly service. They bring the drinks and food to you. Food is great! Great decor and atmespher!! But they can work on smiling while they bring you the food and drinks. Above all we give it a 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.

We discovered this gem by accident. Fantastic quality food which drew us back for a second meal. Nancy the owner is extremely hospitable and full of great tips for things to do and see in the Munising area. The art gallery in the back corner is the perfect place to purchase unique, well priced gifts.

You must experience this eclectic space, it will not disappoint.

Good coffee, good food, surrounded by books, all the tables are different--some tall, some short, some large, some small, and the staff are so friendly and patient. They appreciate out-of-towners rather than be rude. One lady (Theresa) actually took the time to draw us a map! The owner Nancy is super friendly as well, and happy to have a quick chat. This is the Michigan my family knows and loves--yes, we transplanted south for work, but our hearts and some family are still up here. Hence the importance of appreciating those you don't recognize.

Falling Rock is a gem in the UP, and a favorite stop of ours! The staff is friendly, service is prompt, the atmosphere is unique, and the food/drinks are fantastic. We love playing games,mainly UNO, while enjoying our food and drinking our coffee/hot chocolate! The boys love looking at the old toys and books. The local art and jewelry collection is fantastic. I wish I lived close enough to have my own mug on their wall of mugs!!!
