Small place, but one of the nicer and more welcoming casinos in the U.P.. Would be 5 stars if they opened a little earlier. It's a casino, you are gambling. Dont give a low review for payouts. If you want a payout, get a job.

Staff is friendly and there are a good amount and variety of games. A great feature and bonus for this Casino is the wonderful walkability afforded with Bay Furnace federal historic park on Lake Superior and Foggy's Steak House & Bar (EXCELLENT FOOD and service) both just across the street and the Pines Motel/Gas Station/Convienience store located next to the west parking lot. Having these options available makes this a great choice when traveling with family or freinds it provides choices to satisfy age and interest diversity.

Horrible payouts, I played quite a few machines and never won anything, made it a quick trip, and no the payouts are not random like other casinos, these were fixed to payout nothing on a holiday weekend, like a tourist trap casino. The outside with the snowmen were cool, the inside was your average casino, and you get free drinks. Too bad the inside didnt have a more holiday christmas feel, or holiday themed slots would of been nice, but it had none of that.

Love it ! Good prices and I think some more wins at slots would be nice though. But all and all staff was very nice and helpful and had a blast on my birthday (50th) here I am playing slots ❤️

I really like the Britney Spears game and you don't have it so my only suggestion would be to get it! Overall, very nice!
