It was a nice stay. The only complain about is that during the morning, The maids were really loud. They were talking so loud that we had to tell them to please lower their voice for us to keep resting. Not nice!

Clean rooms, fast and free WiFi, heated indoor pool, and continental breakfast from 6-9 on weekdays give a business traveler passing through RDU everything they need.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Feels airy and clean, and serves early breakfast, 5:30 AM. Rooms are nice and larger than normal. Unfortunately the hotel is directly in the flight path of RDU, so every 15 minutes you get a nice jet whistling overhead --hopefully they don't have too many night flights.

EDIT -- the flights weren't that bad, just a few up until around 10:00 PM. The internet here is awful, as I've found with most Fairfield Inn's ---not matter what time of day you're using it. I ended using my LTE as it was significantly fast --a speed-test explained a lot. I'll likely stay here again if need be.

If you are a consumer who enjoys or expects to be treated with dignity and respect then this may not be the property for you. When we walked into the hotel the lady behind the counter was too busy with some papers to even acknowledge our presence. Once she did, she looked up and said 'yes'. NICE. We were checking in under the friend/family discount and she was kind enough to allow me to email it to her so that it could be printed. After which she told me that my form was fraudulent and I would need to agree to pay the current room rate. I explained to her that my sister is a current employee and I used the same form earlier that week w/out issue to which she pointed to a wall of fraudulent forms and told me to look over there, do you see all those fraudulent forms. Lady im not sure why you are sitting here calling me a thief and lack the ability to come up with solutions to resolve this situation OTHER than to conclude that I am the fraud. We ended up calling my family member at 3AM and she suggested to the lady to call the property she works for to confirm her employment and the validity of the form. Boom! Verified! We were checked in and I asked for my folio to confirm the rate was correct and it was. 4 days later a charge well above and beyond the rate was debited from my account..upon calling the hotel to understand the charge a whole other onslaught of incorrect information, unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. Ultimately the manager, and I use that term loosely, decided that he would charge me a higher rate because he concluded from his employees that I have a bad attitude. First class guest service I logged a complaint with Marriott and provided my bank with my receipt clearly identifying the friends/family rate and reported their behavior as the FRAUD that it was. In fairness to the establishment id like to note that the hotel, itself, was fine and in close proximity to the highway and airport. If that;s the only thing that's important to you, go for it. Just keep your receipt, check your account later and don't expect much in the way of service

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and tidy. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. The pool is a bit small, but we were the only ones in it. They have a good breakfast with many food choices. We were only there for a night on our way home so, we didn't explore what's around. There are several restaurants really close, though. We love Marriott hotels.

A budget Marriott brand hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel has a hot breakfast buffet that opens at 5:30 am. Typical hotel offerings. Friendly staff. We used the pool as we had a late check-out. Hotel is just off the interstate and about 7 minutes to main doors at RDU. Special nite to travelers staying here and using the shuttle to the airport. Make sure when you check in to reserve your slot as quite a few use this service. Once the van is full you either need to take an earlier or later slot. They were really busy Sunday at 4:30 am and full in the shuttle.

We checked in using the Marriott mobile app. I always use that (when I remember ) as it makes things so easy. We were greeted as we walked in, thanked for being marriott rewards members and for using the mobile check in. The room was neat and clean. Staff very friendly, and our stay was a pleasant one. Definitely worth considering if you're staying in the area.
