The service and room we're both very good. There was a beetle in my room. The breakfast was much better than many other hotels.

This was a nice stay. There was nothing that really sticks out as particularly good or bad. The room was a little dated. The one thing I was happy with was that the pillows actually had some body to them. Sometimes you need 2-3 hotel pillows to be comfortable. That wasn't the case here.

It was very nice, clean, and the staff were very friendly. It was a nice surprise to find out they had a hot tub and the temperature was perfect. Quite relaxing and the breakfast was good.

Clean room, the breakfast spread was plentiful. Very friendly staff, always greeted us coming and going. The price was ok I guess, room was 139 the first night and 109 the second night, no explanation why. Many TV channels were fuzzy but not that big of a deal . Lots of places to eat nearby. I would recommend.

Two fellow students and myself spent three nights in Jackson Michigan at the Fairfield hotel. The customer service was awesome, the breakfast was very delcious, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. However, when we went to use the amenities of the hotel (the hot tub) it was scalding hot to the point where we could not stand in it for more than 10 seconds. We asked politely that night and the next morning if they could turn down the temp., they failed to do so. Not a huge deal, more of an annoyance. Everything else was superb!

Very nice environment, awesome salt water pool and beautiful rooms for a good price. My mother and sister stayed here and I loved it. Great breakfast as well.

For as much traveling as I do, I want to have some consistency in lodging. I always have a great experience at any Marriott hotels and the Fairfield in Jackson was no exception. The staff were great, the room was nice and clean and I slept great.

Absolutely awesome experience staying at this hotel. I have stayed multiple times and each time is better than the next. Clean and remodeled the rooms are very nice, comfortable.
Most impressive is the staff! THEY make the hotel what it is!!
From the cleaning staff to the maintenance guys to the management and front desk, to the breakfast server, always friendly and eager to please. Its like coming home. It is a wonderful group of great people that work there. They have become friends and that makes being away from home a little easier. I recommend this hotel over any other in the area.

Had a weekend getaway here. Got a double bed room. Our front desk clerk was well informed and polite.
The room was clean after a look over. The linen and towels were a nice white. It did have black out curtains.
Yes, the building is older however it was easy to ignore.
The pool is perfect for children. Was no deeper than under 5'. Hot tub was nice.
Breakfast was very nice. The lady who was taking care of the breakfast bar was effective. The food was good. Really liked the eggs and bacon. Was glad they had yogurt and granola.
    It was quiet.
Not perfect, but if you want a simple and quiet stay this is a great choice.

The location was great, easily accessible. The room was clean , comfortable and the bed was actually very comfortable. I could have done without the feather pillows. The desk staff were friendly, helpful and personable. We ran into a snafu as the hotel lost power when a freakish accident took out a utility pole a short distance away. The staff was accommodating and compassionate. I missed out on the usual great breakfast and coffee because of no power but it was still a pleasant stay. I'll be back when I come through town or stay at Fairfield again on my travels. Thank you!

Staff is very friendly/helpful, rooms are clean and kept up, but doors leave a gap allowing even normal hallway noise to come into the room. Noise from rooms above also comes in pretty loud and clear. Pool is in good shape.

We stayed here the night before a local race and were more than happy with the hotel. Check in was a breeze and we were able to check in at 2:20 PM! The room was nicely cooled when we entered, even a bit on the cold side, which is just the way we like it! The beds were comfy, the room was clean and the towels were plentiful. The water pressure in the shower was better than some of the 4 & 5 star hotels we've stayed in. We really needed to grab a quick breakfast promptly at 6 AM (when breakfast was scheduled to begin) and were pleasantly surprised to see ALL breakfast items ready to eat, hot when they were supposed to be and cold when they were supposed to be. I had a water bottle that I wanted to pour out, so I asked if I could pour it out in the kitchen sink and they said that was OK. I quickly glanced around the kitchen while I was in there and it was spotless! The only thing I would change is the TV station inputs. Our TV had the basic channels like ABC, NBC still in Analog. Luckily we really didn't have time to watch TV anyway. Overall I was blown away by the quality of this "2 star" hotel. I'd stay here anytime and can't wait to return next year.
