If you want a very basic, no frills, place to get away and camp, this is the place! We always go end of the season so it's always quiet - second year staying in 47C. The cabins are great. (Maybe bring a step ladder to get to the top bunk because they don't come with a ladder.. Kinda makes it hard to get to bed!) Owners are super friendly. The place needs some updating but it's a ton of work and they are getting it done bit by bit. ✔

We came to see old friends here, and the owners are the NICEST, and so accommodating. We weren't planning on staying, but now we are. I will definitely bring my family, grandkids here soon . It's super kid friendly.

This is the worst experience iv had at a campground in my life. I have been here when the previous owners owned it and was a finely run establishment. Now with the new owners they are rude, they feed stray cats which proceed to invade camp sites, and won't take into account for extenuating circumstances. The bathroom walls are falling apart wires exposed on the ceiling, and filthy. The porta-potties are worse. The female owner lied about the stock in the pond. The pool is dirty and only cleaned once a day with no cover for it. This campground is obviously too much for them to handle. Campers beware of this place, go somewhere else.

EVERYTHING about this place is run down. Nothing works properly. The office is never open and everything seems to be an inconvenience to the owners. After decades of camping this is the worst place I've stayed. Pool is okay, game room is terrible, lake access is terrible. Pond is terrible. There are feral cats that wander around the area that the owners feed so be prepared for that. With so many other options within a few mile radius do yourself a favor and go to one of those.

We had a wonderful time. Dog friendly and music was kept at a tolerable level. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Looking for a place to become obnoxiously drunk with blaring music? Please don't come here as we would like to return.

I have a great time when I come to Irish Hills Kampground. Camping as a single woman, I appreciate the fact that the security is around and watching.

The amenities are nice, the pool is so pleasant after putting up my camp. The camp store is well stocked and well maintained and they even have a blue-bargin bin with excellent values in it.

The area attractions are plentiful. I especially enjoy the Hidden Lake Gardens, which is a botanical garden beautifully maintained by MSU and the $3.00 fee is worth it.

If you want a place to party, keep looking. If you want a full access campground with all the amenities, keep looking. If you want a peaceful, relaxing getaway, this might be your place! Is it older, yes, but they are working on it. We've stayed here a handful of times in the last 4 years and the changes (all for the better) are happening. We've never experienced an issues with the owners, they come by to check that we have what we need & they are on their way. We enjoy that they are concerned with their investment and want to be sure we are enjoying our time there.

This is a terrible campground. The "wristband" crap was ridiculous. They fell off immediately but if you did t have it one you couldn't swim in the pool!! The website is not an accurate picture of what this campground had to offer. The wanted to charge $5 per person per day! For what!?!!!?! Everything is very run down and scummy!!! We will never stay there again and definitely not refer anyone there!

This Campsite is very Rustic, the owners are building up an older campground and making it great. My family and I had a fantastic time here. Their pool is newer and kept clean, they have a little pond for paddle boats, you can rent oars (free) for row boats on a very beautiful lake. There's a little camp store and game room that is very nostalgic, they hold ice cream socials and candy bingo for the kids. there's horse shoes, a volleyball net, and two little playgrounds! The owner is the sweetest lady I've ever met and I will defiantly return with more family and friends to help them build, as we build more memories!
