This is a hidden gem. It is not too far from UNCG, and tends to have a quieter crowd than the fancier hotels downtown. Usually there are a lot of youth sports teams who tend to have earlier curfews. Refrigerator and microwave in room are a nice touch.

Friendly staff, attentive cleaning, and the complementary coffee was a great perk! We enjoyed using the pool.

The room was clean. The breakfast was decent. We reserved the King suite with a couch with a pull out bed. However, that was the smallest King sized bed I have slept in. It was more like a fat queen. We planned to have 2 of our children sleep on the pull out couch, but it was only a twin. I have never seen a couch that pulls out into a twin. Hence, one kid had to sleep on the floor. Definitely not worth the money.

Please avoid staying at this hotel if you are looking for good customer service . From the hotel manager to the front desk they do not understand what customer service is. During my stay at this hotel my room was switched with another customer , and I was charged incorrect rates on my debit card. Also once I spoke with the hotel manager about these charges, she informed me that regardless of what I was told by the front desk staff that the charges I was charged on my card were correct. Basically dismissing the fact that her staff informed me incorrectly. If you are looking for a good stay in Greensboro, North Carolina please avoid this place . I have stayed at many Fairfield Inns in the past, and this by far was the worst experience I have had. Just wanted to warn anyone staying there that the hotel was nice , but double check bank statements and get a receipt before you leave.

The hotel was excellent! They had Nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a great hot free breakfast. The location is right off the interstate making it convenient for overnight travelers. The rooms were not outdated and we're spacious for the 2 of us.

My last stay there was great and I figured I would keep coming back for the next 4 years while my daughter was at UNCG since I was so pleased with every aspect. However, I recently stayed there for a night and it was completely different. False fire alarms went off and didn't stop for at least 30 minutes. I understand things happen, however, a small discount for the night's stay would have been appreciated since we had to come downstairs to the lobby because the noise was dreadfully loud in our room. I also heard the same thing happened last week. The coffee pot was empty at 6:30 am. To me this is unacceptable. I asked the employee and she said she would take care of it, which she did. However, I also asked for the small flavored creamers that were out the night before and she told me they don't put them out in the morning. I asked if I could have a couple and she did not respond, kept walking away. She later claimed she did not hear me. The right thing to do would have been to offer them to me anyways. What happened to customer service? How much does a tiny container of creamer cost??? Bad vibe and so disappointing. Need to look for another hotel now.

It was well-kept, and the breakfast was quite delicious with healthy options available. I enjoyed the exercise room and pool as well. I also found it cute how the towels were folded into swans.
