I have traveled all around the country and am quite familiar with this brand of Marriott hotel. I usually stay at Fairfield Inns or Springhill Suites. This was one of the worst bathrooms I have had to experience. Mold on several surfaces of the bathtub. Not just in one place but in several. On top of that they charge me an extra "hotel" fee to make up for the weekend rate that they used to get me to stay here instead of Holiday Inn. Stay at this property? NEVER AGAIN!
The hotel was nice. The meeting space was small compared to other Fairfield hotels I've been to but I'd definitely come back.
We arrived late at night while traveling. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, clean beds. Small complementary breakfast offered in the a.m. Pets were accepted, which was very convenient for our trip. There wasn't anything that was overly impressive, but it certainly suited our needs and we would stay again if making the same trip.
Nice hotel for the location, value, and customer friendliness. Late evening and the need for a quick room on the other side of ATL (vs Marietta) almost every hotel I normally choose was booked. A double queen room was available; I was not disappointed. I was pleased with the gym and continental breakfast as well. Bike path, Stonecrest Mall, places of worship, businesses, and places to dine are very near. Easy access to I-20.
Nice rooms, reasonable price, very friendly room service attendants
Rooms were clean and the rooms were quiet given that the hotel was sold out. Staff is very nice and accomodating
Stayed 3 nights at this property to attend the Igloo Atlanta festival in August. The hotel was clean and well maintained and the service was good. Our room was clean and comfortable, but showing small signs that it is in need of some updating from normal wear and tear. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
The hotel was in a good location to the company I was visiting so I thought I would give it a try. I was greated by a friendly receptionist and check Inn was very quick and efficient. The rooms were your general hotel rooms, nothing special but the beds were comfortable and the room was clean which is very nice. My only complaint would be the fact the AC was on almost the entire time when I was in the room even after I turned it up. I understand Atlanta is hot but with how loud it was I had to turn it off a few times to sleep. Other than that I had a great stay and would come back.
Not so well maintained though great from a location proximity and better rates. For instance low batteries in TV remote, broken ice bucket, no water in iron for steam, hardly any exposed plug points for your laptop / phone chargers etc..
Their reservation system was faulty, rooms were overbooked. They were able to resolve it rather quickly and I was able to stay at the hotel I booked. Staff was pleasant. Room is clean, bed is comfy.
Not too happy with the stay..
The hotel is in the most perfect location. There is a mall right beside me, an AMC Theatre, and many restaurants. It's pretty easy to get in and out of and Parking is easy and FREE. If you leave out early in the morning, if you get to see some beautiful ducks walking in the field.
Check-in went quite smoothly but I was a bit disappointed. Sydney acted a bit on the snobby or irritated side, as she checked me in. I usually travel for myself but I'm actually working and had to use my corporate account. She took me from the room that I booked online, which was the standard room showing on the website, and put me in the most basic room, she saidI guess she felt I needed that bit of information. Even though I'm an elite member with the company, I didn't get any perks. They don't allow that. For all you business travelers
Marquita was quick to get the pillows changed for me. Housekeeping staff was super sweet and fast!!! The room is adequate. It has a super comfy bed, a mini refrigerator and microwave. The coffee machine is in the bathroom, which I hate. There are hardly any plugs. That is a pet peeve. I had to plug my phone in the bathroom so I could plug my laptop at the desk. Who has only one plug at a desk???
My room key would deactivate and The heat and air seemed to work fine, until nighttime. If I set the temp to 75, I would wake up sweating and it would be on 83!!! It would constantly jump around. The water pressure is a little low and it takes the tub filling up, almost completely, before the water gets lukewarm not pleasant to bathe in. It never got hot, the entire trip.
The hotel is quiet. I really didn't have any neighbors messing with me or housekeeping staff that's nice!!!
If you don't care about the hot water or the water pressure and don't need many plugs for devices - then this would be a great hotel to stay at.
There is an ATM in the lobby which is very convenient. There's a free breakfast which was really good. They had oatmeal, cereal, waffles eggs and meat, some pastries, yogurt and milk.
I do want to add.. there was a sweet young lady working the front desk in the evening who was super sweet and perky. Whenever I called the front desk, she was just so nice and she did try to change my room the last night I was there but I told her it wouldn't be worth trying to move everything. She did check on me. I feel bad I forgot her name but she had pigtails and a sweet voice. She was FAB!!!
NEGATIVE 5 STARS! Myself & my guest were treated so badly by the staff here. Natasha threatened to call the police on me. It was a complete catastrophe & so embarrassing. I have NEVER experienced anything like what I experienced at Fairfield. I will be contacting their corporate offices.
Nice hotel. Indoor pool. Hot breakfast. Large bathroom. Very happy with our stay.
