Had to change rooms due to non working toilet. Friendly staff and ok otherwise. Nothing special though.
Not a good motel. Breakfast is a 3foot counter. Beds are uncomfortable. Mattresses are stained. Staff is defensive when asked questions.
I have been here 2-4 nights a week for the past month, and will continue for the next 3 months. I have been in 4 different rooms so far - one had a leaky sink, but so far that was it. I even walk around barefoot - something I rarely do in hotels, I also ALWAYS check each bed for signs of BB - not a sign in any of the rooms as of yet. The Staff has been great - I have dealt with at least 5 different employees, and so far so good. To answer other peoples issues with the place it's designed for people that are here for business or helping out a relative for week or so, it's not designed for a romantic get-a-way. They do NOT clean the room daily (unless you pay), if you're here for a week they will, if not, clean up after yourself (you can get towels at the front desk). Breakfast - the site tells you it's grab and go and even shows a little muffin - you get coffee/tea granola bar/muffin and leave - if you want breakfast - they have a full fridge and a 2 top stove in the room - go cook yourself something. As far as the smell, well that should change soon - they have smoking rooms (which I LIKED), BUT it is changing over mid-August to non-smoking. As far as the 'people' sitting around outside, again - it's for people that have to be here for awhile, when you're 'Home" you get into comfortable clothes. As far as not having anything in the room - there are little sign in each room telling you to just call and they will make you a kitchen-kit FOR FREE. Heck, they even had some salt for me today. So far the only issue is I would really like better water pressure, but I'll live.
Gave my reserved room away. Then said hey only had one non smoking room available but it was a handicap room. Well she lied. It was a smoking room that they just opened the windows in to air out. It was disgusting here. Screws held the table legs together in the room after a shotty repair. Beds were cheap. Nothing but contractors stay here. I asked for a refund and left.
Upon getting to my room i find a clump of hair on the floor and cockroaches in the bathroom. I told the staff about it and they seemed as if they didn't care. The hotel is rundown and has some weird smells. Slept on top of the covers cause god knows whats on the matress. Also the breakfast is an absolute joke. Will definitely never stay here again.
Stayed for around 2 week and enjoyed it .. there is a market place near by for your basic needs . Hotel staff is good specially manager victor is very helpful
I don't know what happend with these other reviews but this extended stay is awesome!!! and the staff are super helpful and attentive and let me not forget very friendly. I've been here for about two and a half weeks now and I've had no issue what so ever. Im leaving this page to post another great review for them on yelp.
The lobby reeked of cigarettes on first enter. Not only that but the walls and ceiling are super thin so you hear everything. Neighbors cooking seeps through the exhaust in the bathroom and finds its way to the halls as well. Avoid. Can find better quality for similar price.
The place smelled like mold, weed and old urine. The staff was extremely rude. The side entrance was full of trash, cigarettes and beer cans. Loud music played all night. People hanging out all around the side doors so we didn't feel safe to go in. I notified front desk and senior management. Both were not very concerned. I called and left several messages for Mr. Shane Brown with no response. My advice is avoid this location. The one on Stanford Drive is really nice.
Upon arrival (around 8:30pm) I went to check in but the room was not available at the time it had to be cleaned. I had to wait approx 30-45 min for the room. The lady at the front desk was very apologetic and having previously worked in housekeeping I understood how being under staffed can affect rooms being ready. The hallway on the 3rd floor smells like smoke due to it being a smoking floor, I was expecting the room to smell the same but to my surprise it wasn't bad at all. The room was clean, a little disappointed they only had 3 pillows but I slept comfortably. Upon checkout I was asked by the Manager, Ms. Jean Robinson, how my stay was. I told her about the previous evening and she was able to help come up with something for the inconvenience.
Very friendly staff, overall clean, would stay again
Karim was amazing at making sure my picky taste for dark roast coffee was met every morning. The staff was incredible but the hotel itself should not be a smoking hotel. The way it is set up first but contain the smoking rooms and thee entire hotel smells like cigarettes and marijuana. We relocated to a different ESA and we were sad to leave because of how amazing the staff was.
Stayed for a week for work. Smokey smell in hallways, weird chemical smell in room from trying to hide smoke smell I guess.
Beds are horrible. Has a cushion sheet combo, regular sheet on top of that, blanket, throw.
The cushion sheet thing doesn't fit the bed (queen) and there is no fitted sheet on top of it, essentially you're sleeping on a soft layer of sandpaper. I wound up using the regular sheet to sleep on top.
Full fridge, microwave, small stove, sink.
Bathroom was slightly dirty when I got here. Same with the utensils I requested.
WiFi was pretty good. The TV is satellite, mine had a scratch on the screen and didn't get a good signal.
Best part was being able to grab a coffee in the morning and go. They have packaged muffins and granola bars as well as hot coco.
Definitely not my first choice in the area.
