Not a bad price for all of the educational information. The gift shop is a little small, but we were a bit crowded due to it being a field trip for my nephew. It was definitely fun!

Good walking access to mounds, though not for handicapped. Nothing but a good view to see from the tops—almost all artifacts from the mounds are off-site at museums and at universities for study—no reenactment buildings on mounds. Inside museum good, with originals and replicas, staff very helpful and knowledgeable, and a nice documentary film. Hours of operation very good. Takes some imagination to grasp the scale of the town and its origins, without extra study.

Wonderful, educational, and entertaining.
We even we're allowed to bring our pug and beagle onto the minds and Park with us!!!
Located by a beautiful and peaceful river.
The on-site museum was perfect!

It's an amazing, mostly unknown fact that several Native American cultures existed prior to the present one's. The Mississppians, ancestors of today's Mohegan (Creek) people, constructed a massive empire spanning all the rivers from the Gulf of Mexico to the Great Lakes. Etowah is Atlanta's part of that great empire.

Considering the wars and struggles that occurred on this land, it is a peaceful and spiritual place. We liked the movie and the displays. A reviewer said the exhibit case lights were burned out, but if you look a little harder, you will notice that there is a button that you push to turn on lightto conserve bulbs and energy

Shout out to whoever cuts all of that grass, huge area, but it was all neatly trimmed! Like 5 bucks to get in, and they let you bring your pups, so it was a nice nature walk for me, and few friends, and the greatest dog in the world.

I remember going when I was a kid, but my most recent visit was a great experience. So much heritage and history. There are great informative plaques around the property that give you a glimpse into the Cherokee people who lived here. This is a very affordable trip, and absolutely worth the time spent.
