Rooms are recently renovated. Good location close to the theme park. Breakfast is good, staff is very friendly. Room service is also good and quick, courteous. Did need to call in for amenities that were missed, and the wifi did not work for us which was a problem.
Went for a rest. No such thing. I was overcharged for a parking space I never used. When I spoke to the women at the front desk I was told to produce my bank statement to prove I was telling the truth. Construction noise on Sunday morning was awful. Other people's children running and screaming in the halls. Snotty female desk clerks. The male desk clerks were great. The best thing about this hotel is the food. It was excellent and the servers and housekeeping were wonderful. The female desk clerks need a lesson in customer service. Please drop the attitudes. They are in a service industry. No rest here. I was a regular but I think my last staywas my last stay.
They are still undergoing a remodel so expect a bit of noise and dust. The new rooms look nice and the large TV was a pleasure. While my most recent experience was not up to my expectations, I think once they finish the remodel and get their kinks worked out it will be a good place.
Great hotel to stay at in the valley. Newly renovated rooms and fast wifi. Beds are comfy but pillows are quite soft. The pool was warm but the hot tub does not have keys. Breakfast is good with lots of options and freshly made food.
It is a nice hotel & the suites are nice. I would have liked a better mattress to sleep on. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan. The toilet is pretty cool, you have a button for #1 & another for #2. The staff is nice. The best part is the breakfast buffet!!!! You have scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage & bacon, and a person there to make fresh omelets!!!!!!!
Nice hotel with a very helpful and friendly staff. I stayed here for a week while doing some training for my job. I actually did have a couple of minor issues with my room. I informed the front desk about them before I left in the morning and when I returned that evening everything had been handled very professionally. I would recommend this hotel, I would stay here again on my next trip out.
Super friendly and helpful staff, snacks every day, free cooked breakfast (buffet and cooked to order omelettes). They even texted us to see if there was anything we needed..what hotel send texts?..this one! Food was awesome and the free drinks and snacks in the evenings were great too. Beds comfortable and the pillows were the best. I would most definitely stay here again.
The room I stayed in was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. I had no problems during my overnight stay here. The staff was very helpful and respectable. The breakfast here was good too! I would recommend staying here to my friends too, if they're looking for a hotel in the area.
Stayed at this hotel multiple times and every time I stay here the staff are polite and my hotel room is clean. I also love that they have a indoor pool to use. During happy hour you can go to the bar area for free drinks or free sodas. Also in the morning they have a selection of hot breakfasts which include scrambled eggs sausage bacon French toast hash browns and they have a waffle maker too. Will stay here again in the future.
This is a nice hotel near the San Jose Airport, shopping, high-end dining and business centers. The property is situated on a side rode with tree-lined streets, that actually sits right off the highway. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. No issues with check-in or check-out and offers the typical Embassy Suites breakfast and happy hour. I would agree with other reviews and stating that the rooms are somewhat dated and are in need of updating, but they were fairly clean and had everything for a decent stay.
It was.. Meh. Not great but not terrible either. It made me mad because there are no overhead lights! I CAN'T SURVIVE ON LAMPLIGHT ALONE! I'M NOT PAUL REVERE! But other than that it was nice. Seemed clean. It was a bit hot and I couldn't find any temp control. 👍
Clean room and bathrooms, comfortable beds and pillows, some street noise (not too much to bother), black out curtains, refrigerator and microwave and bar sink, very good breakfast. Breakfast even included miso soup, rice, and condiments (which I've never seen in an Embassy Suites before). The chef working the omelet bar was very nice.
Lost one star for three reasons:
We killed one small bug on the wall the night we arrived (very small, haven't seen any others).
The shower was adjusted to spray full-on out into the bathroom, drenching the person outside the tub when turning it on, and flooding the bathroom. We had to use all our towels to mop up all the water. (Also, they only provided a set of towels for 2 people even though we reserved with 4 people.) The mirror also fogged up and the room turned humid as there is no fan to pull the moisture out.
When they replaced our set of towels at our request, one "clean" washcloth had a brown smear across it. Granted, they might not be able to check every towel and washcloth they wash, but it should have been noticed by the person folding the washcloths before they are sent to rooms. All I could think of was that I had washed my face with a washcloth after taking my contacts out the night before and I wouldn't have seen it if it had been that washcloth. Gross.
Was in a nice location and the Santa Clara square which was nearby was brand new and looked very nice, as it was a short walk from the hotel. Their breakfast is phenomenal, as there is even a custom omelette making bar with a chef to make a delicious omelette and plenty of ingredients for the chef to put into your omelette. Everything was very nice and exceptional, including the fact that they have a fitness center, a pool, and there are shops and restaurants in walking distance. My only complaint would be the pullout sofa bed. The mattress was uncomfortable and had springs sticking out from under the fabric, but this may have only been a problem in our suite, and was fixed easily by placing three blankets underneath the sheets in order to obtain a soft enough bed to sleep on, and the bed in the actual bedroom has a comfortable mattress, just the living room pullout one could definitely be improved. Overall, it was a great option to stay in and was close enough to restaurants and a whole foods. It is also near a theme park which is about five to ten minutes of a drive, but it isn't walking distance. Great experience for the most part!!
Maybe a 4 plus. We have stayed at this hotel a number of times so this is an overall review. The evening drinks include good craft beer on the tap. The breakfast is the same as all the Embassy Suites. There are plenty of seats at this location. There is no atrium at this hotel like most of them. I have stayed at over 40 Embassy Suites and this one is in the middle. Of course I selectively choose Embassy Suites when we travel as I sleep only 7 hours a night and my husband likes more. The two rooms are necessary.
One of Silicon Valley's top rated hotel for a truly enjoyable stay. Beautiful suites, lovely decor, upscale bedding, towels, room service has a great selection. The suite can be compared to a 1 bedroom apartment with a living room tastefully furnished, the huge bedroom is the second room with a nice big comfortable bed. The hotel offers a happy hour free of charge, all you can drink cocktails including a variety of appetizers. The breakfast is not the traditional continental fare. A chef prepares cooked to order omlettes with all the fresh ingredients you can think of. Delicious! Plus the complete selection is vast. Potatoes, french toast, pancakes, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, yogurt, coffee , oatmeal, cereal and a variety of donuts and fruit filled danish. Great, top scale hotel where you feel pampered within the comforts of home.
