This hotel is downright beautiful. Has a huge bathroom with a soaker tub. The pool was down for renovations when I stayed but the tub makes up for it. There is a smart device to set alarms and ask questions about the hotel and the area. They even have a robot who delivers stuff to your room. Staff is amazing and polite. Room was clean and quiet. Very close to multiple food options and very close to many tech companies. Great stay. I will definitely recommend this to friends.

The room was large and clean. Same for the bathroom. TV with a good selection of channels. Silent room, I couldn't hear any noise from next rooms or outside. The hotel has a happy-hour event that runs from 5-6pm where the offer complimentary beverages, including beers and wine. Parking lot is right next to the entrance, you don't need to walk much from your car to get to your room. My room had anything I needed, only thing I missed was a way to turn off the lights from my bed. I didn't find a switch nearby. Internet WiFi is available, has decent speed, and is complimentary as well. It is a really good hotel. They offer breakfast, but I didn't try it.

Disclaimer: Google put me up here when I was interviewing on-site, so I can't say much about value for $. I can say the quality of this hotel is very high. I had plenty of privacy and felt very comfortable. The complementary happy hour was lovely and the hotel kitchen food was delicious. Really, I can't think of an amentity I desire this hotel did not have. I would definitely visit here again when in the Valley.

The room was fantastic. It was very spacious, it had a nice couch area as well as a desk. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was huge with plenty of towels. The beer selection in the fridge was good. The morning breakfast was okay; a bit carb heavy and the omelette station was slow, but overall I enjoyed my mornings there.

This place looks like an old hotel from the outside, but it is as savvy as technology can get. I stayed in the suite which is a comfortable space with a bed room, hall and a bathroom.
You have an Amazon Alexa in the room, which you can use to order room service. Tech savvy? Wait.
You receive a call from a robot. You wonder - What the hell! It asks you to open the door and when you open, there is Jarvis, the hotel's robot bringing whatever you have requested. This is truly a Silicon Valley hotel.
The breakfast and snacks are great from a friendly staff. Appreciate this place much and would visit again.

[Update] Stayed in a 'villa' this time.. don't do it. Everything is outdated, the toilet was running all night, the TV was tiny, the bathtub/shower is just that and it's SO expensive! Really let down by the Grand this trip -- don't book the villa. It's not worth it.

I stay here all the time when I come to silicon valley. The rooms are spacious and have pretty nice bathtubs. The happy hour is a nice touch and the hot tub is awesome. Definitely recommend.

The location for the place easy to find, with lots of room for parking. The receptionists are very welcoming and knowledgeable in regards to places of interest. The complimentary breakfast is great, with the omelets hitting the spot. The snacks and wine in the room are a plus. Overall, the hotel is a 5-star for me.

The Grand Hotel has a lot to offer, but doesn't always deliver. The rooms are spacious, with a personal safe and coffee maker and generously sized bathroom complete with tub and separate shower. But the coffee that was provided for us did not fit the coffee maker, housekeeping did not replenish used towels that needed replenishment, and the room was not thoroughly vacuumed. A mirror in the room itself would have been nice too.The happy hour was a plus, but it would have been nice to have had an an actual bartender there who could understand what we wanted! And while the breakfast and omelet bar was delicious, scrambling for a table was not fun. I don't have a solution for that, except better bussing of the tables might help. Our experience at the Grand Hotel was good, but for the cost, it should have been excellent!

I would absolutely stay here again especially for a business trip. The staff is super friendly almost to the point like you feel they are being secretly watched by a great overseer who would strike them down if they said the wrong thing or went off script. The rooms are spacious with very nice although not brand new finishes. Some reviews I read before coming said finishes were dated but I don't agree with that it's just not a brand new hotel. It's well maintained and the beds are very comfortable. They have a nice pool and spa area that is well stocked with towels. It's a small hotel so not a ton of different spaces. However they do have free and pretty good breakfast with hot options, and free happy hour kind of thing in the evenings. They have champagne waiting for you when you check in which seems super hokey but whatever, oh and a robot butler Maybe the robot is the overseer.

We loved our stay at this hotel. One of the best I have ever been at! The staff is really friendly and will always help you. The rooms are amazingly spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable. Moreover, you get free breakfast and free snacks/drinks from 5 to 6 with your stay!
The swimming pool/jacuzzi space is lovely. We would enjoy our afternoons there while enjoying a cocktail - very relaxing!
Perhaps, the thing I disliked the most is that the room cards get easily demagnetized. But overall, a 10/10 experience.

Wonderful hotel in Sunnyvale. Big and comfortable rooms and good breakfast. I stayed at the hotel while attending an event at the Googleplex. There is a bus stop close to the hotel and a big car parking area just in front of it. Very recommended

It's a luxury, upscale hotel with fair price. The interior is spacious, relaxing and modern. However, the only thing not perfect is the noisy AC unit/air duck and some noise coming from hallway machine humming. Everything else is perfect. ..Oh, by the way, we request some shower gel deliver by their famous robot servant "Jarvis", and the experience is full of fun

The Grand Hotel was a great spot for my boyfriend and I to stay while there on business/vacation. We were in a room with two queen beds and couldn't ask for a cleaner and more well taken care of stay.
The hotel has a complimentary breakfast along with an omelette and waffle bar. They also have a complimentary happy hour every day with appetizers (cold and hot) and great drinks. The bartender Gill is a great person to have a chat with and has WONDERFUL restaurant recommendations! Beer and wine, and some mixed drinks were all included. This was a great surprise.
House keeping was fast and always came, and the front desk was quick to help and offer recommendations.
Plenty of parking available as well.

This hotel was just wonderful and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was huge and the bathroom has both a huge tub and a separate shower. The desk and chair in the room were comfortable and functional. The room also had a small sofa and a table in front of it. All of this plus a king size bed and plenty of room to spare. Everything about it was luxurious. The bed was softer than your standard hotel bed, but I slept very well on it so no complaints there. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area or need to be close to the airport.
