Room was a great size and provided all amenities we needed. The staff was cordial and helpful with all needs. The only downfall was the requirement to pay for wifi.
I visited this hotel for a work Christmas party held in a ballroom. The room was nice and the service was very good. There was a cash bar provided. The bartender was adequate, albeit fairly overworked since he was the only one around. Drinks were about $9 for a simple beer, pretty steep. Overall a fair experience.
The Thanksgiving brunch costs around $40 per person and is worth every penny! I think it's worth $65 per person so $40 felt like a good deal. It was first class and the food was AMAZING. I will definitely go again next year!
Amazing, outstanding, incredible staff. Absolutely felt like an honorable guest despite only being in the building for about 8 hours. Clean and modern interior. Better than most Sheratons
Really nice hotel in a good location. Staff were brilliant, we were on our honeymoon and the reception staff arranged for a bottle of bubbly and chocolate dipped strawberries with a card from most of the staff signed sent up to our room, it was a really nice touch. The room was really clean and comfy, the bar was always lively, but relaxing and the food really good.
First off, let me say that Sheraton won my business as a result of this experience. My gf and I rolled in from Dallas at around 3AM last week. The first place we attempted to stay was a literal dump, where we found hair in TWO different rooms, in the beds. Long story short, after several attempts to find a place to stay, we happened upon the Sheraton Uptown, which was able to put us in a CLEAN king suite at a reasonable rate. Better still, the next morning as we were checking out, Alex (working the front desk) saw that we didn't check in until 4:30 AM and were leaving at like 10 AM, as we needed to get back on the road. He immediately offered to lower the room rate to only $50, as we had hardly been on the property but for a few hours. Now, I'm a loyal guy when it comes to companies that provide stellar service, and this is a shining example of just that. He absolutely did not have to do that. I can't articulate how grateful I am that he did. After such a s**t night, it was a really refreshing act of kindness. He had no idea what we had gone through the night before, which made it all the more meaningful. Kudos to Alex, as he's won you a new customer. Thanks guys!
Every where we travel we always stay at Sheraton Hotels. This time we got club lounge and when we entered out room a roach was in our bed. I went to the front and I asked for a refund or to move me to a clean room. THE MANAGER tells me when you find the roach bring it and they will move you unacceptable!!!! After arguing with him after 30 mins he gives me another room. How in the world do you ask your client to get the roach we pay extra to be on the club lounge area top floor for that time of service. I wont be staying there. The Sheraton In Kansas City, MS ITS 5 STAR Hotel. Work the $180+ dollars per night.
I came as part of a group from work and the hotel was very accommodating for us. They had a grab and go breakfast available since we were all working early mornings. They also set aside a conference room for us to unwind in at the end of the day. The lobby area was really nice and rooms were spacious and well designed. Showers were particularly weak though. Barely a trickle of water
We needed a pet-friendly hotel. Even though I knew it was pet-friendly I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was no evidence of any pets having been in the hotel! It's just that great! The room we had is very spacious. There are many amenities. It is perfectly located.
I went there for a funeral reception. It was very well organized, your front desk Personnel were very very nice. They found a wheelchair for my mom and took her down to the reception room. The food was quite excellent. The servers were very nice, very professional.
Room was large and comfortable. Starbucks coffee in the room and nice shop and bar in the lobby. Convenient to I40.
Absolutely terrible first the room is out of date and smells funky. Then I take my child to go to the pool and it had so much chlorine in it that you skin and eyes burned as soon as you entered, not to mention it felt as cold as ice but states in the web site that it is a heated pool WRONG! To top it off the steps and exit to the pool were cracked and the anti slip flooring was peeling up from the concrete. Go to the front desk to complain about the issues so far and all they stated to me was that they are the best hotel in albuquerque. Then the manager proceeded to advise me that the local fire Dept comes and checks the chlorine every single day. Well needless to say the manager didn't know I also work for the local fire dept and I advised her that is not the case as I am an employee of the fire dept. she immediately changed her story stating she may have misspoke! BS! She out and out lied. NEVER EVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL! Waste of money and a joke of service!
We had a leaky sliding glass door (3 feet of water came in the room), a flood above us (closet was completely soaked), black sludge come up the sink, no water in the entire hotel for several hours, then a missing gaming system that a friend dropped off for my kids. Which was found once she offered to come back to fill out a police report. The pillows were awesome and comfy! The bed however was slanted! LOL you just have to laugh at some point!! VERY disappointed. I told them I would write a negative review. They offered me 2 of the 4 night refund that will take 10 days to process. I will not hold my breath on that one. No one seemed too upset that these things were happening, so I can only assume that these are "normal" for the employees.
Editednever did get that refund! To date that was the worst hotel experience ever!
Centrally located. Super friendly. Very clean. We stayed on the 8th floor which is the "club" level, I believe. We had breakfast and dinner. Debbie. Debbie was amazing. She is just lovely. Remembered our names on the first night, asked about my family the next, asked about the birthday party for my Dad by the end of our stay my young daughter assumed she was a member of our family!
