I love this place. I was at the Vineland Swap Meet waiting for the train to pass at 1:30 but it didn't pass. Google Transit read it as on time and that it had passed but I knew it was wrong since I would've heard the train. Then I realized that LACF was going on. Google must've thought it was normal Sunday service.
Clean clean nice people
Close to home and lots of parking. Security in the parking lot is good.
Enjoy the ride
I love that I do not have to drive. I get to and from work and it gives me time to catch up on phone calls and emails. The train being clean helps alot
This station doesn't get really busy at any time of the day or night. And it also seems that they have a very liberal parking policy. It's clean, well lit, and feels somewhat safe. I don't know about at 2:00 am though. For you photographers, there also seems to be some sort of security. In fact, I was told by some woman wearing a uniform and styling a badge that they didn't permit photography. WTF? I didn't want to waste my time arguing with her, so I decided to leave. I went about a block south to the Post office and took some shots there. As you can see, if you look at the pictures here, I got some pretty good stuff.
This Metro link located in El Monte. One of the nicest thing is that they had basically unlimited parking duration it seem. You can park here very long time and they don't see to care. It open 24/7. Not that big but isn't crowded or busy since most people use the one in El Monte Bus Station.
So far so good. Comfortable ride, air conditioned cars and cars are clean.
