Rooms were fine, room service was great good to see the bed made and new towels when I came back to the room from work

Black mold around tub they tried to cover with new caulk. Man said he wasn't authorized to give discounts and I'd have to speak to day manager about it. The day manager laughed and told me he was the owner!!! They won't get another DIME from us!!!

They were renovating so no breakfast, got stuck in the room because the door handle came off and could barely open the door because they had just painted. The room was unfinished, the plastic on the bed, we unfortunately didn't notice until leaving there was blood on the plastic they put to cover the bed, bugs found in bathroom. Good thing we bought our own things because some stuff was missing and the tub was dirty. Usually don't complain about stuff but this place had too many outrageous things going on for me to not say anything

An abysmally run establishment. My bed was literally sunken in in the middle in addition to having a plastic covering over the mattress so that it made a crinkly sound every time I moved. I got almost no sleep for this reason and also because guests next door and right outside my door were shouting at each other well past 4 a.m.
There was also an unnecessarily rude and condescending staff member at the front desk in the morning. They had several large signs up that said they "preferred" guests not take breakfast back to our rooms to avoid accidents. Fair enough. I grabbed a breakfast pastry (which I promise you I had no chance of spilling anywhere) and cup of coffee, then I went to walk outside to eat my breakfast hoping the sunlight would help wake me up since I had gotten maybe 30 minutes of sleep. The man at the desk began rudely yelling, "Ma'am, ma'am, the sign!!" pointing his finger forcefully at the wall in a manner that suggested he thought I was stupid and couldn't read. I explained I wasn't going back to my room and just wanted to eat outside. He continued shouting at me, and I finally noticed he was pointing to a smaller sign on the wall that said "no carryouts." Perhaps they shouldn't have signs that have conflicting messages on them because the other, more prominent, larger signs said it was a mere "preference" and also that they just didn't want breakfast in the rooms, which would imply eating my pastry outside should be fine.
So I headed back to my room, got dressed, and made it apparent I was avoiding looking at this man when I came to check out because I had no desire to speak to someone who had been so rude to me. He made it a point to come over and comment on how I "looked different" now that I was in a different outfit, then proceeded in a passive aggressive manner to tell me to "Have a nice day" as I was headed out the door.
Will never stay there again and don't recommend you do either.response / report this review -

No way will I stay at this motel again. Booked 2 nights while my father-in-law was a patient in Augusta Univ. Hosp. We had just gotten into our room for the first night, when a stranger knocked on our door asking for money. The next morning, a woman, who we saw sitting outside earlier approached us asking to use our bathroom. Needless to say, we had no intentions of staying a second night. We didn't expect anything extravagant with this motel but thought with it being directly across from the hosp., it would be common for families of patients in the hosp to stay here and be safe. However, management doesn't seem mind if their guests are approached by strangers (homeless drug addicts, I'm guessing) asking for money or to come into their rooms. When my husband went to the front desk to cancel the second night, there was no apology or concern when he explained what had happened. The response he got was, "you have 15 minutes to return your room keys." No joke.

This place is horrible ,the hotels is out dated and have roaches in thia place they need to bomb the whole hotel before they bring guests in this place ive been change three times ,and the roaches are still in the rooms after being told there were none in the rooms..Its sad im gonna report this problem this is plain nasty noone wants to take home roaches..

Wifi worked 20% of the time.. Loud chatter next door at 2:45 am in the morning.. Last year when I went, it was alot of peaceful and room seemed more cleaner. Now it looks more rundown, but it seems they're currently trying to renovate the rooms, they need to renovate the noise

My over all experience was OK !, but I was in room 213 still don't have a rod to hang clothes, but my BIGGEST problem was tub and sink was NASTY with someone else HAIR in it, oh use soap was left too, I had cleaning products in my car and clean bathroom and sink WOW!!!! Didn't rest easy some people was outside all night on the steps carrying on!!! I had a roof over our heads, since I don't have one do to house fire.

very slow front desk staff; they can't type and process your information quickly. Room had buildup where the walls and floors meet, and just dirty in general. Surfaces were sticky. Bring Lysol!! Room 213, the entrance door has to be slammed to close and the bathroom fan makes this ugly broken sound, which always turns on with the light., and the closet is missing the top shelf, but they do have an area with hangers, just not in closet. As well, at night, the parking lot lights shine into the room because curtains weren't long enough. Went on a mama and baby killing spree of cockroaches. In 12 hours that was my first encounter with a bug. But that truly only means they hide well.
Friendly staff, spacious fridge for a hotel, good air control, comfy bed. But I forgot to check bed bugs, but I dont seem to have any bites, and dumb of me, I threw my bags on the bed, but no sign of them.response / report this review -

I stayed for 1 week for a rotation in the hospital across the street. Room a little older, but always clean. I would find the cleaning personnel very nice and respectfull. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. I expected continental and cold but they also had hot waffles, and you could make hot oatmeal or grits in the microwave. There is apples every morning and two kind of juices. Cold milk and cereal, muffins and bagels with cream cheese available in little sachets. The lobby and building are simple but clean and welcoming. Some of the guests could be noisy and drinking in the parking lot , but it didn't bother me cause i came late to sleep , eat something and watch TV. They do have HBO. Was a good experience overall and the staff in the lobby very friendly and helpful, . Not a deluxe hotel, but a nice a cheap stay for a week
