I love this restaurant. I have been living in the area for over 4 years now and I can honestly say they have good Chinese food. Their food is always FRESH and HOT when ordered and is very tasty. If you want Chinese without using "take out", this is the place to go do. Highly recommend!
Terrible service. Waited about 5 min before someone came to ask for drinks and she only asked my friend and just walked off. Then 5 minutes later no drinks, only ordered water. Then another waitress comes over and asks and looks at us like we are supposed to know why she is here. THENNNNN another waitress comes to take our order. Luckily the food was good. May not be back.
The To Go customer service sucks!! After I paid good money with a "tip" the guy wouldn't even say goodbye. I will take my money and spend it elsewhere.
Microwaved curry? Come on. I have had good experiences with cold food here (sushi, sashimi, and salads) but was surprised to get curry that was scalding hot in some areas and lukewarm in others. Wait staff is friendly enough but very disorganized. I must have talked to four different waitresses.
Great food with amazing price. Lunch time makes it so convinient.
The food is bomb but the service can use some work.
Food and service was good. Management was unreasonable. I had purchased a $40 groupon, thinking I would have 4 persons on my trip. One of my sons couldn't make it, but I went anyway on our trip to DC. The manager would only give me a $20 credit because I had 3 people. Even though I offered to buy a 4th dish as if 4 persons were there. I was polite and tried to reason with him, but no reasoning with that guy. Even though the food was good, I have a real bad taste in my mouth for this place.
East Moon is my favorite eatery in the kingstowne area. Every meal I've ordered here never disappointed. They also have a full bar happy hour until 9pm which is unheard off in the area
Try the salt & pepper chicken.. It's to die for
I eat here regularly and typically the sushi is very good. The service however is average or less than average. Today, I dined for lunch by myself and ordered the sushi lunch special. The lunch special comes with a salad. My salad was brought out to me and while I was eating it, I discovered a rubber band in my salad. I alerted my waitress and she shrugged, giggled and took it away. She did not say anything. I totally understand things can happen and I am not upset that a rubber band (probably dirty) was in my food and that I could have consumed it. What I am upset about is the lack of proper customer service as a response to it. A "I am so sorry about that" or "oh my gosh i'm sorry" would have been more than enough to keep me happy and meet my customer service expectations. However, I was given the opposite reaction. Not only that, but she then brought my food out, didn't check on me one time (no 30 second check or anything) throughout my entire meal. She then brought me my check (nothing comped-- which would have been totally okay if she had just apologized for the mistake). No "thank you for coming" or even a "I'm so sorry there was a plastic rubber band in your food earlier we will make sure to be more careful". Just very bizarre. Now they have lost a customer who dines there multiple times a week.
Excellent prices! Huge portions! Lovely service
Decent prices, great selection, friendly staff, always delicious.
Great food. Great happy hour. Awesome service.
This place has pretty good food. Atmosphere isn't too bad.
The food was good; large portion as other reviewers mentioned. The peanut salad dressing was great. Good customer service.
