We were here for the Yelp event. Earlier that day, we had to meet our friends at Noon for lunch, but my kid and myself was brave enough to have one more lunch with-in 2 hours. This place was new to us, the newly renovated set-up looks very classy and cozy at the same time. Looks like, this Dominic's moved from one location to another in Escondido

They gave us fresh and amazing breadsticks with marinara sauce, made for each other. The bread sticks were topped with garlic and butter, just made crispy outside and soft inside.
And we ordered minestrone soup bowl, it was very tasty and mozzarella sticks, it came out good, too

New ambiance is nice and warm. This is a nice place to bring the special one for a romantic evening. Prices are right on and the food is tastier than ever. The background music is relaxing for the atmosphere. We'll definitely come back.

Fettucini alfredo with chicken. AWESOME. Spinach Caesar Salad with Herbed chicken. DELISH!!!! Service was friendly, helpful and courteous.

The move to the new location has changed this eatery. Parking is now difficult rather than convenient. The restaurant has kept the modern decor of its predecessor and there is no evidence inside of any Italian inspiration. Prices seem to be up also. In our case, we ordered a pizza plus entrees. In the past, were were accommodated such as with an item switch. No longer. No substitutions and no changes says the owner. $16 for a pasta entree that has no salad and comes with a bottle of grated cheese at the table is just not a very good deal. The bread sticks and sauce were still very good.
In summary, Dominick's was a well priced Italian eatery with a nice atmosphere and attitude that the customer comes first. Now it is rather expensive for what is served and customers don't seem to be as valued as in the past.

This is a great eat! Food is delicious I enjoy the friendliness of the staff and the soft smooth tone and environment inside the restaurant, it is a place I love to go after a date night at the theater with my wife. Keep up the excellent work!

Feels like a small-town italian eatery. Generous , hearty portions. Definitely going back. Lasagne and a vegetarian dish. Very good. Decent price. Great bread. A hidden gem.

The waitress was so cute and welcoming. Within 2 mins of seating we were served bread and sauce and asked for drinks. The sauce is bomb. House makes its own sauce and bread. Ambiance is homie and the tables are full. Just ordered the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken, and spaghetti with meatballs. Plus one extra meatball. Looks like we found our place in Escondido. Located next to a regal cinema its location is convenient before the show. Price is affordable and I'm guessing we will be back. And talk about fast food! They had our order taken and served in less than 10 minutes

Service was great! My favorite part was the complimentary warm garlic bread sticks and sauce! Yum! My spouse said the cheese raviolis were the best ever. I got the lasagna. I thought the sauce was great, but there was too much of it for lasagna. The sausage inside didn't taste the best. But I'm just picky.
