We first came here for a second opinion and now we are costumers for life. As a female I've been talked down to at many large chain car shops and that never takes place here. They are honest and care about what they do. And they do it for prices 2 broke kids can work with. EP has many loyal costumers so they do get busy. Be sure to call ahead and make an appointment.

Great service at reasonable prices. The only real drawback is that they're popular and busy. I'd rather wait an extra day than try some other place that only will do a fraction of the job for an inflated price.

EP auto is the hallmark of honest auto repair! I took my first car to Eric 20+ years ago for a second opinion. The first shop told me I needed a new engine. Eric fixed a worn out gasket and sent me on my way! I drove that car for 5 more years before selling it in perfect running condition. I have referred many to his shop over the years! Yesterday I took a grand Cherokee that needed a heater core to Eric, which is one of the most miserable jobs, (6+ hrs) and Eric worked all day to have it done that evening!!! I wasn't expecting to get it back for a week! In fact, I have worked for another shop for many years and my own friends refused the job even though I was willing to pay the full $850 for the work! Eric did the same job in one day for $100 cheaper, and I am just a guy of the street to him!!
I can not recommend EP Auto highly enough! Thank you for your hard work and honesty!! Customer for life!!response / report this review -

This shop may already have enough 5 star reviews, however I'd still like to add another. We were having some engine issues and I haven't been to a mechanic in over 7 years. Neighbor said go to them. Long story short we needed a whole new engine/rebuild. Skyler, Eric's son, did the job. They gave us a quote that was cheaper than any other shop in the Utah and Salt Lake Valley. Took a few days extra but accuracy is more important for this job. Glad we came here, Car is running super strong and we're enjoying every bit of it. One thing, call ahead, they are extremely popular and busy, for good reasons of course.

It costs kind of a lot of money to have someone else fix your car. But if you need to get it repaired you want it done right. Eric knows his stuff and has always done an excellent job on my vehicles.

I was new to the area looking for a good mechanic and I heard nothing but good things about EP auto. I also heard that making an appointment is needed once the work they did was done the problems are fixed the first time! They are busy but worth the wait to get cars fixed right! They are now my mechanic shop of choice!

EP Auto has always treated us right. They are usually pretty busy, but there's a good reason for it. It's worth it to call ahead and make an appointment. Quick repairs at a fair price and they won't try to rip you off and sell you parts and services you don't need.

I try and work on my cars when I can. I'm not in the position financially to have someone do it for me all the time. However, when those times do happen, where I can't figure it out or I don't have the right tools, I send my cars over to EP Auto. I have found them to be very honest. If you are looking for a mechanic that likes to shoot the breeze Eric and his staff probably aren't what you are looking for. They tell you what is wrong and what it's going to cost. That's all I want and that's what I get. They know their stuff and they haven't disappointed me yet. As far as I'm concerned, they are the best mechanics in Utah Valley.

They did a great job replacing the struts on my car. Just finished a 900 mile drive and felt a lot safer than I would have with the old struts.
