I always get excellent service here. The staff never makes me feel stupid, even when I lack the right vocabulary. They always save the damaged parts and explain what happened.
I drive a Land Rover, which are picky vehicles. They shouldn't be taken just anywhere to be fixed; Foreign Aid Foreign Auto Repair is a certified repair shop for Land Rovers. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. I had a good experience there and will definitely be going back.
Very helpful and the operation seems legit. I had a check engine light on and the codes. The owner of the shop checked it s d reset it free of charge and said the light was on because the car hadn't been driven enough on the freeway to burn the build up in the catalytic converter. We've driven the car a couple hundred miles since and the check engine light has not come back on. The guy was very helpful despite being busy with scheduled work.
Honest, dependable and knowledgeable. What more can you want from an auto repair shop. Great service.
Great, they are experts in bmw's
Todd charged me 20 dollars less than he quoted me to get work done on my land rover and got it done a day earlier than expected if that's not good business I don't know what is.
(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
Good, solid and quick work.for very decent prices. They do a quality job on my '04 Saab and the owner and all the mechanics are nice, helpful, and explain their work in hood detail. I really appreciate it.
Todd (owner) is an honest man. I had taken my 06 BMW to a different shop and they diagnosed it with needing a head gasket replaced, which I thought was a bit absurd. They also wanted $2800 to do the job. I took it to Foreign Aid for a 2nd opinion and Todd told me that it was not the head gasket, it was the oil filter housing gasket that needed to be replaced (common problem with BMW's). I'm very pleased with the level of honesty and trust. I do recommend this automotive repair shop.
Would recommend this place to any person who has a Volkswagen Audi Mercedes or Porsche. They can literally fix anything and if they can't then let you know where to go how to do it and what it'll cost. They're very upfront and you can tell how honest they are. I had a 2003 Volkswagen passat with a W8 motor. It was a very rare car and they were the only people in the valley who were willing and experienced enough to fix it. They pulled all of the bad parts out laid them on a table showed them to me asked me what I wanted to do after explaining all the options. Todd and his crew are the most intelligent and thorough mechanics I have met.
