Not a bad hotel. Relatively near downtown. Good options when traveling with pets (cats or dogs) as they are used to dealing with those, but you do pay for the privilege. The included breakfast is OK, but not spectacular. It will satisfy. Beware as they will clear it up at exactly when stated, and if you are minute or two late, then you won't eat. As parking lot isn't entirely safe from break-ins best to bring all luggage into the room, but beware as luggage carts can be in short supply especially in the morning, as some guest will hoard them in their rooms. Employees generally friendly, especially Kitty.
We have been here less than a day and I am already thoroughly enjoying it. They are LGBT friendly, which is a huge relief. We had to double check to make sure they didn't charge per person, so my wife also said we didn't need two beds, as it was us and our 3 year old, and my wife asked if that would be a problem, again, the clerk was quick to ease our minds! We did get the wrong room at first, but a quick call downstairs and it was fixed in less than 2 minutes. Amazing service and people!
The ONLY thing I don't like is the way the bathroom is designed, the door is so large, it's awkward to get to the bath tub, but it's workable. Everything else is great. I'm more excited about the pool than my daughter is!
We got a suite, usually do. This property has very friendly staff. The rooms are always clean. It's more of a family place with kids running around and having fun. Pets are allowed. The food is good. It's recommended that you make reservations especially during a weekend. This place fills up fast. I highly recommend this property!
ABOVE AND BEYOND!! My pregnant daughter, her 19 month old daughter, two sick black labs and I recently stayed at this Drury traveling from Phoenix to northern MN. It was our first stop and after putting in a long day we picked the perfect place. After walking the dogs we started through the lobby and one of the dogs got nervous and peed on the floor! The front desk told us it wasn’t a problem and they cleaned it up immediately. We left the dogs in the room and went to kick-back. When we returned the dogs had gotten sick and we had a mess. We called the front desk and they were super understanding and moved us to a new room. We took turns taking the dogs out every two hours and passed the front desk. Every time the staff was wonderful and asked how the dogs were doing. Everyone was wonderful!
Thank you staff! You helped make our trip so much more tolerable!
Wonderful staff and service. Have stayed here many times over the last several months. I always look forward to a warm greetings, a comfortable room, and a relaxing evening after work.
Nice hotel, good room, excellent customer service.
I would like to see tea bags in the rooms.
Kickback is a nightly event when they provide a small buffet and 3 free alcoholic drinks. The food was good the 2 nights we ate there and plentiful--we made it our meal. Nachos, soups, salad, hot dogs, one night was Mexican, next was chili and chicken pasta primavera, and both nights with baked potato and toppings. The only concern is the free alcohol causes a very long line the minute it opens. I don't know where else it could be done, but the dining table and chairs are so close then adding the food line and the drink line is a mess.
Had a get together with extended family. Nice clean event room, and friendly service. Stayed in the room that night. Was nice and clean as well, no complaints.
Great hotel with a friendly staff. Kickback dinner with free drinks in the evening and a full free breakfast in the morning. Also waking distance within many fantastic restaurants and a wonderful movie theater.
Room was very clean. Customer service was great! We loved the kickback at 5:30 - nice food and drinks, too! The bartender Natasha was phenomenal! She remembered what we had to drink, which was impressive, but when we returned over a week later on our way back home, she still remembered us, what we liked to drink, and where we were from. I was floored. All staff and management went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy!
The staff is great! Natasha went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable and our family feel welcome. The hotel is a clean pet friendly property. The dinner and breakfast buffets are a nice perk of staying at the Drury Inn.
Location is perfect right off the highway. Rooms are slightly dated but very clean and cozy. The staff were all so happy and friendly. The food was pretty good too. Hot breakfast and dinner. Would stay here again.
Love Drury Hotels. Try to stay in them whenever I end up near one on a trip. In this particular hotel I had a king room on the fourth floor, stayed 3 nights. Room had large windows (almost floor to ceiling) that looked to the southeast, that was nice. Room was mid-level, nothing fancy but well appointed and what I expect at a hotel in this class. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Did not get to take advantage of the evening drinks and food, but walking by it looked good and seemed popular. Had a slight issue with a night clerk not taking action on my request to forego housekeeping services during my stay (earns extra points for Drury Gold Key Club). But one bad employee didn't tarnish the overall great experience I had at this hotel and always have at Drury Hotels.
The Drury Inn and Suites was a delight. Everyone was so cordial when we arrived and asked if we needed anything. The rooms were neat and clean and always enough towels and toiletries. We love the breakfast and "Happy Hour" at the end of the day. Two people stand outJolena and Elizabeth.always cordial and asking about our day.
Thank you.
The hotel is a great place to stay for a night or longer. The Staff went above and beyond to resolve a noise issue during my first nights stay. The second night was quiet and comforting allowing a great nights sleep. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in the great city of Albuquerque, NM.
