  Don King rock's. You won't meet a more helpful, knowledge salesman. He's patient and takes as long as you need. I've been there 3x and 1x with someone else and I felt rushed. I always felt I was making the right choices and Don had suggestions that are helpful. All in all I'm pleased and will go back. Soon actually. There's a table in the, "as is", area that will be perfect for my kitchen island.

  I went in to look at bedroom furniture for my teenager. I had 2 kids in tow and was welcomed by Eddie Greer. He was very friendly and professional. He was knowledgeable about all the bedroom sets and helped us pick out a very nice set. I ended up having a conflict with the delivery time and called him in a panic. After telling him my situation he worked on making the delivery time more convenient. I would highly recommend the store and Eddie! A+++ Service

  Lousy Customer Service. I was going to buy around three thousand dollars worth of furniture. I had a salesman for about 15 minutes. Then my wife had to make a decision on just one item. I could tell that this guy wanted a fast sale, because he kept looking like a shark at other people coming in the door. I said to the guy, "U can help the others for a moment if you want, while we make a decision on this one item"..worst thing I could have ever said. The salesman disappeared. I looked all over the floor, but I couldn't find him, then I saw him make a sale with another person, and taking his time as if we were never there. I asked for other sales people, but they all said they were to busy. I told my wife.."I guess they don't want our business". Afterwards, I went to "Ashley's", as soon as I walked in the door at Ashely's I had a salesperson escort me to the furniture I wanted, the sales person kept asking me if I needed help of any kind, offered water and refreshments and "always" they were right there for any questions. They were very thorough with us on the sale, explained everything through the buying process, which was easy as cake. Believe me, if you want a half ass buying experience with "funk up" sales people (Sharks), go this American Furniture Outlet Center. I really think they have all the funk ups in Albuquerque working there that rather make a fast buck and tell you "Funk U" on your way out the door. One good thing! Thank God I didn't buy anything from this place. Later on, I did call the Manager of this location, and told them of the Customer Service I received. Her reply.."Sorry! we had a Party that day, and most of our sales people went to the party"..Now I know why they have the sales people that they do have, they act as if they are hung over from the night before! I'd mentioned even the sales person name, but hey! ..there loss anyway!

  What a fun place to visit! This store reminds me of a vintage Ikea circa 1980. It's pretty drab and has a "dusty without being dusty" kinda feel to it, but somehow that just works and makes this place an EXPERIENCE. There's selection of furniture items and some really great deals. We managed to snag a great deal on a new mattress, foundation, and bed frame - all for about $1,000.

  What a disappointment. I walked in the store with cash in hand to buy a sofa. I felt like I was invisible. Not a single sales person approached me to offer help. Believe me it wasn't because they were short handed. There were plenty of sales people hanging around doing nothing. My advice to the employees; don't judge a book by it's cover. No, I won't be back.

  After having such a difficult time in getting our purchased item fixed. David the manager came through and listened to our frustrations and gave us the best customer service ever!! American Furniture is the best place to shop great items and great prices! We look forward to our next buy at American Furniture

  Good selection of furniture but the financing sucks. I wasn't told about the terms of the financing when buying something. So when I went to pay off my couch they just keep saying that's "our leasing program." They jacked up my price now. Now I have to find a different financing option to pay it off from them. Charge me almost 100% interest. But that's just their "leasing program." I will never buy anything from this place ever again.

  I was looking for items for a basement living area and guest bedroom. After being greeted by the salesperson. We spoke and something strange happened.HE ACTUALLY LISTENED to what my needs were. I was very impressed with the way they didn't try an up-sell me or show my things that were outside of my budget. I have to say that this furniture shopping experience was totally different than any other I've had. I'm about 99% sure I won't shop at another furniture store again! Thank you for listening to what my needs were.

  Have waited the entire day. It is now 7 pm and the delivery truck is still not here. No mattress to sleep on. Called several times was assured truck on it's way. Totally annoyed and want a refund

  This is the clearance center for American Home and there are some better deals to be had on items that are on their way out.
